This is really cool. Scaler is all about improving your workflow and learning by doing. Once you have built your best chord sets you can export and share them with other users.

I typed "scaler import midi" and your video was exactly what I was looking for. Found scaler a week ago because of you too. Also have ridiculously large midi downloads from reddit I'm looking forward to exploiting. Stems too. All of the tools we have at our fingertips is ridiculous. Basically magic. It would be such a waste not to make something awesome.

Google "loopMIDI". It's free and super easy to setup. You can even set it up inside FLS to start automatically with FLS. Enjoy! :)

ok wow - can you elaborate on how you mined so many midi files? also for MIDI, do you think FL is the best DAW? I have seen comparisons that put Digital Performer above FL.

Check out how Pluginguru's new UNIFY will soon allow you to play monophonic MIDI files, as polyphonic ARPs! This is crazy new stuff, and will let you leverage libraries of MIDI files in an entirely new way. Just watch the most recent UNIFY video where John demonstrates this with his "MIDI BOX" utility. Unify is quickly shaping up to be the best and most important buy available and the new version is going into insane territory for what it does, like making monophonic synths, polyphonic...

MG, since chord progressions can't be copyrighted, you should consider assembling a couple hundred of the best of these as Chord Sets and sell them... My $20 is waiting for you...

Do you prefer scaler over sundog? Or do they both have they're own separate purposes?. Do you feel with scaler you don't need sundog anymore becauseI have sundog along with melodic flow

How do you route midi scaler to 3 part plugin. So you can live record. I tried to set up with input output midi channel and with patch nothing works . Have fl 20. Cheers

Hi, can anyone help me? I download scaler and then add one of my VST to it but the notes come out all funny. I mean the sound or notes just stay pressed when ever i press a note...another words when i play a note it just stays on that note when ever i let go. Can anyone help please?
