Scalextric Tips: Fixing Old/Worn Scalextric Track/Connections.. Quick Easy Fix for Scalextric Issues 

I really want to replace the metal contact track connectors. I bought a 1/24 Carrera track that must have been left out and the track is mostly okay but the small metal contact clips that fit inside the metal track that the brushes on car. I can't even find the name of those clips. They must be available. Any help would be appreciated.

What should I do if the rails are rusted? being in the loft about 30 years and being exposed.
