She tells no lies. I've been doing that extra effort work to ramp up into GRC. There's so much to learn, and it feels rewarding learning/leveling up each season.
This is probably one of the few videos on RU-vid that gives a thorough breakdown and break through on what you actually do in the role and how to enter it. I wish there was more of a focus on ppl who didn’t go the traditional college/university route
This is probably the most comprehensive view on GRC! I have enjoyed this and Izzy I wish she would teach! Thank you for better information and direction!
Thank you for this just graduated with a BS in Cybersecurity and MS in Informatics. And although I have the degree I wanna take the remaining of the summer to touch up on my skills and actually find my niche. Loved the video!
Really liked the flow of the video and this style! Great questions and commentary and overall enjoyed listening! Timestamps really helped the organization and made it easy to follow 👍 Awesome quality and overall looking forward to more posts from you my good man! Keep up the amazing content you are on a roll 🔥 Great Job!
Discipline is the one of the main characteristics if not the main characteristic, of being in this field. Honorable mention, endurance. Great interview..I learned quite a few tidbits.
Would you say that it'll be more beneficial to have experience in some technical field of cybersecurity before going into GRC or you can just start with GRc right away if thats the ultimate goal without any prior experience to cybersecurity?
Your environment matters. Like Izzy said (I’m paraphrasing here), if you do GRC at a place that’s pretty behind technologically, then you’ll most likely find it boring. In a place with continuous innovation, you’ll be on your toes and be more mentally stimulated.
