Small prawns or shrimps is place on top of the better before deep frying, usually the whole prawn with head and shell intact is use. This is a simple and very addictive recipe that worth trying at home.
Prawn fritter (Cucur Udang) are often serve as tea time snack, it can be seen in many countries especially around Southeast Asia.

I love your videos. I followed your method of frying a few times. Each time was a failure. The reason is the keeps sticking to the frying pan. How can I prevent and avoid this problem?. Your advice is appreciated.

Sorry, the mixture keeps sticking the frying paddle (not pan).

Hi, thanks for the recipe. Is it possible to substitute the rice flour with wheat flour? Would the effect be the same or almost the same? Reason being I dun have any rice flour at the moment.

All-purpose flour have gluten, the texture will be way-off and not as crisp.

Heat oil together with a stainless steel ladle or wok spatula to 160°C. It will stick if it is not hot enough. Refer to recipe at mykitchen101en.com/scallion-prawn-fritters-crispy-version-recipe/
