Niara, have you tried microfibre hair towels? I’ve heard that it’s very gentle on the hair. Thought it’d be beneficial when you’re during protective style season

The Cécred hair lotion is surprisingly one of my fave products! I’m relaxed but I use a drop of it as a leave in before my heat protectant and it is completely weightless but adds hydration and gets rid of any frizz

Another good scalp cleanser is Dabrat whatchu like apple cider vinegar rinse. Really does wonders for my scalp!

The silk press between protective styles is Crucial! ❤ What style are you doing next? I agree with the twists not being washable and no longer than 3-4 weeks, def damages my hair if longer than that.

I used the deep conditioner after the reconstruction mask, because the instructions on the website say to. I wonder why the instructions are different. This is not a deep conditioner. Use the Reconstructing Treatment Mask after shampooing and before conditioning when you need to repair damage. 1. Apply evenly to clean, wet hair from root to tip. 2. For the best results, cover your hair with a plastic cap and add heat with a hooded dryer, steamer, or warm towel. 3. Leave it on for 20 minutes. 4. Rinse thoroughly. 5.
