Whats the point of doing a review on a drone telling us to not buy it, but not telling us which one ?

I just bought a $30 S96 drone from Amazon, it has the same camera quality as this but is a mini-drone. Came with two batteries, controller, extra props, prop guards and a carrying case.. all for $30. It suffers the same camera freezing that you experienced but it's a great beginner drone to practice flying.

If there is money involved in any way, there is someone running a scam. With any aspect of life you can think of. There is always a lazy person looking for the easy way out at others expense. One has to do their own, independent research on anything they want to buy these days to make sure its legit. Honest channels like this are getting harder to find. Thank you very much for staying true to yourselves and your fanbase.

Yep seen that scam video numerous times. I am amazed how they get away with it 🙄

My dad got a targeted ad on Facebook for this type of drone. He was so excited to show it to me that he asked me to come over early specifically for that. It wouldn’t connect to my phone despite the app basically demanding I give it access to my camera roll (which I didn’t), it flew with a heavy list constantly and would disconnect from the controller entirely, flying straight in whatever direction it last registered. I have several drones and I’ve never seen any as worthless as this. I can’t even use it as a paper-weight, because my phone weighs more than twice the weight of this. These scammers prey on the elderly with targeted ads, “gift ideas” etc and Facebook pushes those ads because they’re paid to promote and look the other way. I’d lose no sleep if these scammers didn’t wake from theirs.

I have always enjoyed your videos on RU-vid - I have bought several drones just by watching your videos. You guys are honest with your views and that is what I appreciate the most when you talk about the products you use!!! Thanks for all the good info you present on here. Don't ever change!!!!

I wish I’d seen this before hand. I just bought a Qinux K8 here in the U.K. for £115 with extra batteries. First flight in an open field and it took off and I have no idea where it’s gone to. Totally uncontrollable . I’m now just about to take a ladder to the trees to see if I can find it, and then send it back!!!

I have experienced frozen video on my entry level drones like the Bugs and JJRC drones in the past. Landing and starting over, solved the problem. I then discovered hovering in flight, disconnect the fpv view on your phone and re connecting the phone to the app works and saves time.

My mom is the person these scammers love. Just gave me one of these drones because she knows I broke my dji. Scumbags taking advantage of elderly people. Theyre making like 10x profit per drone. After the manufacturer made their 1x. Disgusting people.

I've seen em too. I didn't fall for it. I KNEW it was a scam. The body style looks like a n SG or ZLRC Beast 2 or Beast Pro 3? With gimbal. Not bad,.......BUT HORRIBLE LAG. NO, really not Horrible, but terribly horrible. But again. Great crisp, clear video. If the lag prevents FPV FPV flight is impossible, nope. I'd recommend the Hubsan H503A+ It has GPS too. Or the ( Oh how I love this one), the SG700D. No GPS, ut alt hold, optical Flow position hold that works. Oh. The Beast looks like a Mavic too.

That was great you two. My kids and myself have been thinking about drones for the summer. Had a Deerc drone from Amazon 2 years ago 170$ no gps. Lasted a week. Some of the ads are a complete joke and scam. This Deerc you suggest has is way better and in our price range. Thank you for the info🙏🤝

Sounds like the auto adjusting eye glasses scam, ads, apparently designed by a well known doctor, and you can get a second pair for the price of one, etc. etc., blah blah blah. Total BS of course. Knowing the cost of goods, in a given product or having some idea of raw dollars helps in understanding real costs of products, but not many people are in tune with cost of materials or have an idea of what a product of such nature should cost. Most people love fairy tales and love to dream, and fall for the BS, often. Why do you think Star Trek and all things based on magic and taking man's imagination to infinity and beyond is so lucrative, which makes these other small scams look like small pebbles in the sand. Yet reality is really more confined, like a close loop back circuit, but solid when you understand the real shape of the world and how things operate within it. Best thing one can do is expose the scammers, at all levels. Most of the bigger ones have been exposed already, but the little ones are just as important so naive people do not get fooled. BTW, PLEASE STOP USING THE WORD "DRONE" to refer to an RC Model Multi-Copter IS NOT A DRONE. IT DOES NOT CARRY STEATLH, MILITARY GEAR, WEAPONS OR SERIOUS SPY GEAR. No wonder so many rules are being imposed on so called "drones" and people who use these terms. RC Enthusiasts do not fly drones, but Hobby grade RC models. Unless you are in the military flying a real "drone", what you are flying there is an Hobby Grade RC Multi-Copter or RC Model Quadcopter.

I am a techie from 🇿🇦 That thing is totally not true and I don't understand why Google airs it. Of course, at Google, only bots to talk to. That ad is not only a lie but puts my beloved country in a bad spot. I am embarrassed. I am a retired career soldier and can state that our military operates differently.

I have about 40 drones now , including that great Hubsan H502E you guys put us on to .. great beginner drone :) Amongst my collection I also have the Hubsan H502S, H501C, H501S, H216A, H507A and H502C. I know you guys weren’t thrilled about the Mavic mini but I’ve had mine for close to three years now and it’s been absolutely great. I am only ever buying DJI drones I’m done with these others.

Loolinn's "David Li" literally will not stop contacting me to review their junk. They literally, LITERALLY begged me to review this POS with praying emojis and everything to "sincerely cooperate and give us a chance 🙏🙏🙏🙏" And before that, they were constantly hawking me to review some overpriced junk micro quad after I told them politely "no" by email. It's pathetic how desperate they are honestly. And now I get to see how this drone actually performs, no surprise, it's bad. You should be recommending the DJI Mini SE. It is the best beginner drone. Only $299.99. Everything works perfect straight out of the box. This way new pilots will have a good first experience and avoid wasting money going down the toy quadcopter rabbit hole. PS. If you got the money get the mini 2. It’s spectacular.

my 1st drone was a holytone hs260, 70$ off Amazon, good for maybe 80-100 feet , now with a mini 2, I hear highway to the dangerzone every time I fly!

I like to stick with one brand that make different versions of drones. I use 4DRC drones. I really like the minis, and they are good for beginners.

I have always wanted a drone. My 66th birthday is in three days, so my daughter ordered a drone from TEMU. If this $200 drone is crap, then my $50 drone coming will be a sure disappointment. But at least I'll have one.

It's already doing well enough for me to buy it at 100 bucks..as much as I like drone flying, I don't do it professionally just for my son and nephew's baseball practices and I will take a chance with this one- thanks!

Best drone under 200 is the holy stone hs175D in my opinion, and its popular and walmarts best seller out the drone category for that price point

Unfortunately that drone you recommend I’ve had zero luck with. It flew away from me twice. Now it does the “toilet bowl” as you call it. Holy stone customer service refused to take the drone back. So now it sits in my garage collecting dust.

I'm new at this drone viewing but definitely in the market to buy a beginner drone. I did subscribe because I love the honest feedback. Glad i seen this video, just been looking for a beginner drone to learn to fly, and add another prospective to my mine exploring videos, so many channels endorsing Drones like this, it's hard to find a reliable review, I've learned that lot of the budget Drones say their 4k when their not, hopefully the first drone I've purchased on a budget £260 will be ok until I can get a dji in the future.

WATCH out for scam when trying to license your drone. Make sure you get the right one by the FAA.

LOL, here in Philippines,on FB DJI mini SE for $50, complete with full DJI ad. They send a $20 toy drone, Since they ship COD, I've orderd 4 and refused when they arrive, so they can pay R/T shipping. What they print on package as item is not even drone related. also sell mavic air 2 with flymore for $100

It's too bad that the app/drone interface is flakey, since the video on the SDcard is so good!

The tello is almost twice as good with more features if you download good apps for it and 200 for this is just a stupid price!

The inherent problem with Wifi crap drones. The wifi APs in the cheaper drones can vary wildly and performance can depend on signal strength of other wifi routers and APs (if they are in the same frequency range) I am wondering if you experience that with other wifi drones of similar price points.
