In this episode, Sayu Rinpoche went to explore the crown jewel of Marseille's impressive skyline - La Basilique Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde - some say Marseille's number one attraction. Later, Sayu Rinpoche checked out Abbey of Saint Victor (Abbaye Saint-Victor de Marseille) and the old port before the night drew the curtain, which ended up leading to two very unexpected yet unpleasant experiences. For safety reasons, Sayu Rinpoche returned to the hotel area for dinner, and the rest is another feast here in the food paradise of Southern France.

You really took your misadventures lightly .as a Marseillaise I appreciate that you didn’t make a big deal out of it!because Marseille is a lot less dangerous than Chicago or Washington at night where you can get shot .Very nice video😊

It is what it is. Bad things could happen anywhere. There are many other places that are "safe" - but there is nothing else there to be appreciated. I had fun in Marseille regardless of these minor setbacks, but really I think because the city is so amazing🤩. Thanks again for your comment and watching this video! 🙏

I was born and raised in Marseille. We migrated to the USA in 1985. I haven’t been in Marseille since but will be there this summer for just a couple of days. I know it has changed so much since my childhood and the neighborhood that we used to live is now considered a bad neighborhood. I hope I will not be too disappointed

Thank you so much for watching ! 🙏 I'll be making a separate video on this experience. But long story short since you are asking: I found out that I paid for some sunglasses accessories that I wasn't aware at all but the store staff sold to me anyways and refused my return request. the store I bought from was an international chain and I'm well aware of their return policies. I managed to fight back and eventually got my money back after speaking directly to their manager....and next day the staff who pulled the trick spotted me at the old port and confronted me 😅...The video will probably be posted by the end of this France&Monaco series so be sure to come back and check it out then!
