Getting scammed wasn’t exactly on my to-do list when I went back to Sri Lanka, but that’s how this journey kicked off. I was there to see how the country’s worst economic crisis in history is hitting people on the ground, but I ended up getting played in a way I never expected

Spend a couple of weeks in sri lanka traveling in 2022. Never expierenced something like that. We once had a guy approaching us on the streets and he started showin us around his city for like an hour and then he just left, he didn´t wanted money at all. After an hour he was like "have a nice day, was nice to meet you! good bye!"
