Scammell Explorer (Cummins) recovers M16 Halftrack 

If there’s a Scammell in it it’s an automatic thumbs up 👍🏻 interesting to see a push recovery.

possibly a silly question but why push it? an insurance thing? not allowed to tow another vehicle?

Cracking video, how do you prep a half track for towing/pushing? Has it got prop shafts or quills on the final drive do you need to disconnect them?

i was a 1610 gunner on track 212 five fingers of faith logo stencil on the side.i. think. my. squad leader was cranston. sargent slone our top i got caught up in a april fools joke involving my team ! nice.i wound up paying for the joke big time. we were in yang.gu on DMZ ! i was.17 trying to be part of my team sargent slone had me dig a large grease sump hole and fill it up with rocks after that i was a joke with charley battery 2nd platoon 24x26 AAA.AW after that i jumped ship .into Charlie battery 21xAAA.AW.
