I stopped my friend from being scammed because of what i learned from you and your crew. After 40min of her being on phone i hear 30 sec of her conversation i immediately knew what was happening i told her what was happening told her to hang up. Scammer wanted to talk to me. Lol i learn few not nice words from your stream 😂😂 i told him that he said bad stuff also hung up on me... i told my friend to take her computer to real tech to have it clean. My friend was a teacher her hubby was in the service then a retired cop. They are retired because of you and the whole team i learned and appreciate everyone of the whole company

So why can't you get law enforcement to subcontract Pierogi/SP? SP has far higher utility per dollar than government 'law enforcement' (which is useless).

@@YD-uq5fi it’s a lot more complicated than that. Most of the time law enforcement isn’t even made privy to the scam until after it’s been completed. Frequently victims don’t even file reports because they are too embarrassed. This is why Pierogi’s work is so important!

@@susanvee1 do you think it would be possible to set up a 'scam prevention unit' (not for you to do this on your own ofc, but in general), one that doesn't try to solve scams after the fact but proactively seeks out scam bureaus and shuts them down and/or finds out information ofUS companies/individuals who work with scammers? Basically what these guys are doing haha.

@@hannabanana2411 That's a great idea. I've actually done this before as a banker. But I'll tell you this....the Privacy Act really put the brakes on banks being able to potentially stop someone from being scammed. For example....before...we would contact a family member if an aging parent was about to be scammed. Now bankers don't have the luxury of being able to do that unless the person is on their acct. Even then it's a gray area.

I like seeing how long I can keep them on hold, more of their time I waste the better. So I pretend to be older and a bit confused then say " ooo hold on I've got soup on the stove and it's boiling over" Let them listen to me make a sammich or grab a snack then I "forget" the phone call and see how long they will hang on before hanging up to call back. Then I do it all over again. "Oh I'm so sorry I've a bit of Alzheimer's and forgot, who are you again" ? Then after they go through the routine guess what... "Hold on there's someone at my front door" and oops, on hold again. Lather rinse repeat. Finally I let them know what's up and that I'm going to waste their time EVERY time they call. This has actually significantly reduced the number of calls I get from the scum. It's like they don't appreciate being misled, imagine that.

I’m so thankful that you are doing this to the scammers and for us. I just received a letter with the letterhead for.Endurance extended warranty on my recently purchased vehicle. The letter indicated that the price would be going up $150-$500 for the year and I was to call a number. I called the number and they could not give me the make and model of my vehicle because they said someone could scam the information. And I ask, “how do I know you’re not scamming me? “Anyway, thank you! I did find out that these people were sending out these letters and my real warranty provider acknowledge that fact. Thanks again! I hope some of you viewers will be aware of this endurance scheme.

It’s actually better it being public knowledge how to recover deleted files because there are more issues with innocent people and businesses needing to recover needed files. Also beneficial in digital forensics to help law enforcement. It’s not really significant enough that a number scammers would catch onto that and avoid getting payback.

I almost got scammed yesterday and today i just blocked the person and he started texting me with different numbers and started texting me death threats. Just ignore and block them. They are off shore and cannot get to you. Change all your passwords and if they had taken over a computer or device, do not use that device and seek professional help to extract your files and do a clean wipe of the device and start from scratch. Get local help. Also let law enforcement know you are being harassed by telephone. It is a felony to do so.

Love what you’re doing. Especially when you are able to return money to the people that have been scammed. Have you ever thought of bringing in a voice actor? Been noticing a lot more scammers recognizing your voice changer.

I love every SP win and I celebrate each new video. I’m grateful that you and others fight these nefarious cyber scammers constantly. I have a request (as if you aren’t busy enough). I think a simple, instructive “tutorial” video that demonstrates what to do when folks encounter one of those nasty screen-lock pop-ups that show up to scare them into making the wrong moves that end with them calling the evil “helpline” in desperation. This kind of video could be shared with those who need it the most - the elderly and vulnerable, it could be shown to residents in assisted living communities, for example. Thank ❤ you Pierogi! GET ‘EM!!!

Wasted twenty minutes of a scammers time yesterday. I don't know how to do what you do, so I do what I can. Every time the scammer yelled "listen to me ma'am" I'd reply " sorry, what did you say? " oh, he got so mad, I thought he was going to have a heart attack. Thank you for keeping us safe. You Sir are a magician 😊

Scammer Payback videos? Ah, yes...making scammers cry. So satisfying. Keep up the fantastic work, sir. I get at least 20 calls per day from the cowards. I've probably blocked close to 500 numbers (if not more). All I have to do (if I want to have fun) is say I live in Kolkata, and they hang up faster than a baseball pitcher releasing a 100 mph fastball! Word is getting around, and you are in the minds of many scammers!
