A lot of the people getting scammed are older folks who don’t know any better, or don’t recognize the new ways of scamming. I have older parents and I tell them all the time to be careful, they still end up getting got a few times. Thankfully it never gets too far.
@@Smashball987 You got this. Just be consistent. Im learning German now lol, idk why I picked that language, but been doing it for 218 days straight now. I can read sentences and pick up what ppl are saying if they're not talking too fast lol
Maybe I'm wrong, but I would've hit Babbel, Roestta Stone, or whoever with a chargeback with the quickness. 😅 (Assuming customer support denied my refund request)
@@LegendaryTony. not even going to lie, I really did try to dispute it, cause I didn't remember getting a reminder about the free trial ending, but then I took it as a sign to lock in even more. Next yr though, that's dead lol. Put me back regular lbs
This shit is sad. I have a childhood friend whose mom tried to commit suicide in result of being romance scammed. She was an older woman in a working class area (where I grew up). She was so desperate to give money to this guy on Facebook that she'd steal from her family and when they got upset she took a bunch of pills, almost died, and is now bound to a wheelchair. These people are evil and the worst part is mostly old/gullible/non-tech savvy people fall victim
@@ShamW0Wzeryeah it’s sad. Most people wouldn’t even answer or give them the time of day. But the elderly get taken all the time. And I heard it’s mostly those who live by themselves
Duo goes up to like 160 yearly depending on the kind of subscription. Sounds like she said $160 too. They also give you 7 days. They hoed me the same way. She did say she was “going to be fluent in Spanish by next year” 😂
Yeeears ago there was a news story of a middle school that sent kids home with school laptops and turns out they were being spied on. Kept mine covered ever since 😂😂😂
I use a screen protector with a sliding privacy bar on phone. Just think of how many people bring their phone in the bathroom. 😳🙈😅 I watch these guys they are so good! Scammer payback started a call center to harass the scammers and they posted a video of the first time they all linked up and it’s really good!
okay, as an African there is no way these people have the funds he says they have and are" living in the rich part of Nigeria". there is no way. It doesn't make sense. Not saying that there are no scammers in Africa, there are but these ones. No. Coz look at them!!! And i know that Westerners will believe this easily but rich have access to the same brands you guys have and we also value being clean like the 'fresh cut' she was talking about. One cant look crustyy with all that money. Hau guyz
You should definitely do more reactions to Scammer Payback videos lol. Pierogi be pissing the scammers off and messing up their scams, sending the local law enforcement to them, etc
It’s so easy to get onto someone’s device. You can literally use an app or website and they can get into your system. I was shown a way in college how to do it and was shocked how easy it was to just take over. Be careful out there people. Always verify anything before you use something and report any suspicious activity
@@princess_niya2407not IP, he uses computer screen sharing. Most of these scams solely operate by the scammer tricking the victim to use an app to access to their screen. But these scammers aren’t actually that good at using the app or don’t know much. So when they try to do it to him he just flips it on the scammer. then the scammer is sharing their screen with him and then he can access everything, thus going to go turn on the camera.
I'm learning Spanish and Japanese. I got sucked in, too. It's so fun to learn another language. 😂 Also, I live for these scam videos. They are so entertaining.
@@xxarianahiltonxx5116 right 😂 Italian Arabic an Cuban is something I'm interested in too , but I won't lie learning different languages hard as shit .
Well if you end up watching more like scammer payback or I forgot the other scam page that every now and then watch that does this type of stuff they usually talk about how hackers in order to get access to your thing most of the time gets you to use a Gateway page that actually works in two ways where you have access to their computer and they have access to yours the difference is that they usually tell their victims to make it to where only they have access to their computer without them knowing
I'm confused. This guy hacks into scammers computers and then gives the info to law enforcement but won't the police get on him for hacking into someone's computer? Lol I feel like that's illegal
The hackers get to their camera by reversing the connection on the remote computer control software they use to do the scam on victims. Once on you can get full access to their computer & all function. While showing them a still shot of a different desktop
It's not super easy but they figure out the ppl IP address and network to hack into your computer if a person gets your IP address to your Phone computer etc alot of person and finical information can be revealed
Ngl I feel like if you get scammed from stuff like this and you’re a grown adult you deserve to be scammed😂 cause ain’t no way you should fall for something like that , especially not someone acting as a celebrity. Unless you’re senile or a child you shouldn’t be scammed by anything like this
Agreed to an extent, because in addition to being “senile” or child-aged, there are way too many people who are affected by mental and intellectual disabilities making them susceptible to scams, depending on their symptoms. That’s why even seemingly high functioning adults in these categories are considered vulnerable too. It’s scary but it’s a dog-eat-dog world :/
