1st overnight trip with my SCAMP Luna. A little bit of sailing and scenery. Tested out a lot of my gear and my new boom tent. Tons of fun. I got to do this again a couple of times before summer. I'll be posting on the gear soon. Stay tuned!

Nice footage! Would prefer the sounds of the water against the hull as opposed to the instrumental sound track.

Great video. How did you make/acquire your boom tent?

The boom tent I use is just an 8 x 10 nylon tarp that's ment for camping. I have a bungie cord that wraps around under the deck that I feed the tarp under to keep it taught.

@@SpikeA It looks like you fastened your tarp below the boom. Do you use small lengths of paracord to do that?

@@tntzietz I used to use two pieces of paracord but now I rig it like a camping tarp with a single continuos ridgeline. I use rolling hitches to adjust tension.

Nice to see someone out on the water in a small sailboat! My adventure today was snowblowing nearly a foot of new snow here in the Northwoods.

I sympathize. It was perfect weather here. Low 70's during the day. Maybe a low in the mid 50's overnight. Kept the nose noseeums and mosquitoes at bay.

Always good to see someone sailing,. Nice job on your Scamp. No sailing here for a few months - temperature with the wind chill factored in was close to -40F (-40C).

Unfortunately there are more squeeks, bumps, knocks and such things in the audio than birds, wind, and waves. I will try to intersperce some natural sounds into my videos for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for the comment!
