Exactly, and that shows you she is saving her career, you better believe Tony hasn't had this much happiness in his acting career and white and blacks don't approve of their hot scenes. If you noticed you NEVER heard about Kerry dating the man she married she didn't have anything to hide so why a secret wedding all of a sudden?????????????? you better believe that wife called somebody and told them what she wanted or else (Tony is from the blue blood Goldwyn family the nucleus of hollywood movies (power, money) and the white folks gave Shonda the conditions, Tony's wife was not about to after 30 years and his old daughters going to see their mother embarrassed, so Kerry got married and pushed them babies out quicker than a rabbit. Think why would you with a smoking career with good money coming in and freedom as a woman want to marry a dropped football player?????????????????????????????????? That is the reason Hellyweird the most plantation thinking jew town that inspite of the holocaust still act like nazi's.Kerry is intelligent, beautiful, and well spoken with personality to boot and Tony is memerized by her, when they kissed it was smokin hot and they both enjoyed it as much as their photo shoots, I wish them the best but i truly think my logic is true. Whites can't handle Tony leaving his white wife for a beautiful black woman and Tony? He could give a shit what people think.
We see that, but the chemistry between Tony and Kerry is totally different from all others. Most actors don't have their chemistry. I don't buy what they are saying.This is more than respect. Shonda saw this in the very beginning.
If i hear Kerry talks about that cliché "RESPECT" stuff again i am gonna barf! yes they all respect each other but Tony doesnt look at Bellamy in the same way he looks at Kerry. so try again Washington.
Omg you took the words right outta my mouth. Kerry grabbed the question away from Tony to give her same canes VS insincere response. I'm as fan of her talent but her fake interview are irritating Tony is always engaging, thoughtful and sincere. The more Kerry protests the less we believe her. She also must be insecure to care that much about what others think.
Escales i think it is not a case of insecurity but more about her job. She has worked hard to be where she is and old Hollywood will finish her career if she comes out. She is also a Black woman. Thar in itself puts her at a disadvantage as an actress. I believe Shanda uses the fictional show to tell her non-fictional story.

Well Kerry Washington, cuts it off the main question, about their chemistry because she is showing his wife and her husband respect. That's why she gets sort of uptight. Put yourself in her position, the chemistry between them two, is a very sensitive topic. So I would have cut it off too!!!
it makes sense that she gives the same answer every time that question is asked. They don't want to jinx the chemistry and she's said numerous times it's something they don't talk about. they just do I don't blame them. I need their scenes to stay as hot and steamy as they are !
They don't have to worry about the chemistry it is just there, they LOVE each other, it's just that simple, have you EVER seen two people become one?????? and believed in the kissing, hugging, body touching like them????? they say acting but when all the world is saying the same thing, where there is smoke theirs fire and here with these two it's a 5 alarm.

this is how i feel about all her interviews.. she sounds so rehearsed cause its all she says in every single interview. My thoughts ur married, pregnant, u work with TG just get over it we all have. Why cant u just have fun and show up for ur fans like TG does? I hate when she cuts him off cause he's always 'messy'
jcookster ....you are right. That is the reason I don't listen to her interviews. What the hell have respect and intellect have to do with great chemistry. Her interviews are so not up to par. But I love her. She is secretive about her personal life and that is ok. But as a actor you sign up for all the questions that cone your way. so relax chill and enjoy the ride. So what if you find Tony sexy and handsome. Girl you would be dead if you done.
Kerry is kidding herself doesn't she know she speaking to a mature audience which is clearly smarter than her tiny brain there are professionals who are able to read body language so come on we are not stupid with your "mutual respect"😉😆

Kerry tries to hard to be intellect and makes things to deep. She just needs to chill and stop over think things to much it just makes her look dumb. As times goes by I am beginning to cringe every time I hear her talk.
true, should'nt the tell us whats going on. They have to know we are full of questions. i hope we get some type of explanation before the new season starts or when it starts.
With short, he shorted his career because in reality he isn't as good as he thinks. Short was short on class and decorum he wan't smart at all, that is why he was not getting what he thought he should be getting.
