Zhu was a MONSTER today! Giving her better and higher sets allows Zhu to hit over blocks and to improve her vision of zones to hit toward. She's absolutely peaking at the right time. I only hope she comes back to the Chinese NT for the Olympics. A fully recovered Zhu T and a currently dominant Li YY is going to be the deadliest OH duo!
Zhu Ting has had a bad injury in her right wrist for years. I noticed that she was not given much balls to spike until recently. Now, in the past few games, she clearly was given much more balls and she now spike with real force. Very good news for her fans. Her wrist may have recovered well recently.
be noticed that in this game the setter of Scandicci is another one. Maja as the first setter hardly ever pass any easy ball to Zhu Ting. Zhu's real injury is setter Maja.

Some people say Zhu isn't a good player anymore and i just don't get why. She's clearly not the same after her wrist injury but she's still one of the best outside hitters out there, she knows how to finish a set, she's well experienced after spending all these years in the spotlight. The problem i see in Scandicci is the setting part, i know how amazing Maja is but she tends to set one player a lot and forgets about the others, that's OK if you have Boskovic, that's why they're the perfect duo in their NT but Antropova isn't a "go-to" player yet. So Maja hardly ever sets Zhu and when she does, the sets aren't that good. This was a wonderful match because Di Lulio was able to let everyone shine. Congratulations, Scandicci.
Yo cada vez veo en mejor forma a Zhu Ting hace unos meses estaba todavía atacando no tan fuerte pero hoy estuvo imparable!! Ya está volviendo la Zhu Ting de antes y ella sigue siendo una leyenda!!
too bad that Dilulio could only set maybe 2 sets well. then her level drops on the third set. I saw that so many times last season and this season. i think the biggest problem in scandicci is the middle blocker. they need to let washington play!!!!
Totally agree with you, especially about the setter Maja！Sometimes she's so stubborn. If someone didn't attack successfully, she would continue to give the ball to her until that person finally hits it！Also she's too old to run quickly！

A parte Conegliano, sembra che le prime in classifica abbiano faticato in questo primo turno di play off. Anche Scandicci, dopo aver vinto facilmente i primi due set, ha dovuto sudare parecchio nel terzo e quarto set per piegare Vallefoglia. Ottima prova di Zhu Ting, nominata migliore giocatrice della partita, Antropova sopra i 30 punti ma nel finale un po' troppo fallosa in battuta. Degradi strepitosa, stasera con Kosheleva una coppia di bande mica da ridere, se il rendimento in attacco è questo, forse Pistola può permettersi anche la ricezione non eccezionale della giocatrice russa.
@@fabioarcuti più o meno ha fatto tanti ace quanti errori. Gli ace hanno consentito a Scandicci di fare un break decisivo nel secondo set. Poi ha avuto un calo in battuta e sono arrivati diversi errori. La battuta è un suo punto di forza e se riducesse gli errori lo sarebbe ancor di più. Mi fa impressione vedere le avversarie che ricevono tutte in fila sugli 8 metri! Potrebbe anche alternare qualche palla corta... Kosheleva è stata disastrosa in ricezione ad inizio partita, è il suo grosso limite, poi però è migliorata e complessivamente stasera non è andata male. Era l'attaccante più forte del mondo, adesso gli anni e gli infortuni si fanno sentire...
Ciao Alessandro è che Vallefoglia e Pinerolo non sono squadre assolutamete da sottovalutare (ottima stagione e il fatto che siano nei Playoff a testa alta lo stanno dimostrando), anche Roma, ma Conegliano è troppo "devastante"....😅, insomma ricordano la semifinale dei playoff di due anni fa con Cuneo e Novara... la Cuneo di Squarcini e Stufi, per intenderci...
