This is my dream apartment. White walls with small, vintage accents (that archway in the living room is gorgeous!), plants and lots of natural light. I love the beautiful dark walnut wood pieces and the dining table too. :) Warm but airy!

Beautiful apartment. I love how lightweight young people live nowadays. As an 80s and 90s kid the most storage place I still need is for books, vinyls, CDs and DVDs... I am constantly digitalizing (and also giving away) but that's not very secure as hard drives can break and I have some special movies and music I still like to keep in their original form. And books I am only giving or throwing away, not replacing them with a digital version of them. I do not read very often anymore. My eyesight is now poorer as it used to be and I prefer watching Netflix aside from keeping my garden alive. 😉

A very random comment but I've been watching your other videos for a while after discovering you through Never Too Small. In the NTS videos most of the apartment designs aren't designs aren't made for family homes. Hence I always wondered if you had any children or if you might have a baby/toddler soon so we could see how you decorate a home fit for both adults, cats, and kids. I'd love to see that kind of content as someone in her early to mid twenties. I CAN'T BELIEVE you have a full grown son who lives with his girlfriend. You are so youthful, trendy, and forward thinking. Love it!

O yes : with your credibility, you should approach little local shops or cafe to acquire publicity videos for a small fee.

New subscriber from Australia watching your catalogue of videos. This is a lovely apartment, very homely. My first few homes were furnished with all hand-me-downs from friends and family and purchases from secondhand (op shops) shops. Many decades later and whilst many / most of those items have since given away, my couch, tv unit, sideboard, dining table, spare bed, desk are all secondhand. Older furniture tends to be better built - and more to my taste - than new stuff. I enjoy your videos. Thank you 🇦🇺

Lovely place. I would be interested in seeing you prepare a meal, whichever is your favorite, even a bowl of porridge unless you already did and I missed it. :) I am not much of a cook so any suggestion is welcome.

I love Sweden so much. I spent a summer in Nykoping when I was 17 (1993) & fell in love with the culture. (Even though this midwestern girl was tricked into trying eel, lol.)

If you don’t mind my asking about W/D, I could really use your advice. I bought a smaller LG Inverter Direct Drive model. 1) My darks come out of washer with so much lint. I don’t use dryer function for my clothing. I wipe down the rubber & clean out the drain as instructed. (Actually happened since 1st wash.) Do you have suggestions? 2) Do you know how to select low heat? Mine (Model WM3499HVA) doesn’t appear to be adjustable. Seems odd that it would only be high heat. 2) I like to use dryer balls when I do use dryer for towels & sheets. I’ve been doing separate wash and dry cycles so I can add dry balls to dryer. Do you put in balls with your wash and run a wash-dry program or do what I do? 3) My sheets come out so wrinkled even with the dryer balls. I don’t mind a few wrinkles but they come out so much more wrinkled in this machine. Maybe idea for video. There are no how-to use W/D videos. Search & see for yourself. Mostly they just show machine (like an unboxing type if thing) or show how to run just a dry cycle. Which is not intuitive and is not included in printed material in box. These W/D are very rare in US. I really needed space saving of this W/D in one. I downsized from a house to a 450 sq ft (41 sq M) condo. I’ve been taking my darks to my daughter’s house to wash. Not ideal, especially since I hang dry them.

3:55 Is this eames chair functional? It can not be moved closer to the table because of the arms of the chair. Plus I do also have an Eames chair as a Workchair and is not cosy after a while. Do you also have this problem, and do you work at home at all?

The Harry Potter books made me smile thinking of my own 20 something daughters' places. Of the 3, only one lives simply and minimally. The others take after my husband haha.
