Funny enough I was Googling this earlier. Scania sees more potential in the eastern market than the saturated North American. There was a new scania spotted in test in IL. 2 years ago. No idea why. But I think many US drivers like a nose more. Australia is a great place to compare. I spoke to a Scania driver there, had been on Kenworths all his life ended up in a Scania, wasn’t happy at the prospect but now says he would never go back. According to him the scania was ergonomically far superior from a long distance driving point of view. Driving in the states with a well specked extended cab scania (longline as they say) would turn some heads I think. But getting it serviced would be an issue ;)
