Did you really compared American trucks with Scania E6 which has probably more technology into engine and exhaust than whole Peterbilt shit ??? I mean, take ALL DPF filters and shits what they put in every E6 truck exhaust to make it quieter and environment efficient and you will see how it sounds than!!
The more technology there is, the more things there are to break. Driving any American semi with a manual transmission is more of an art in my opinion as you can shift without using the clutch, something that can't be done with European Synchromesh manuals. Also, the bonneted style is less prone to flipping over when taking turns at speed compared to the COE style prevalent in Europe.
myneymo77 Its a V8 with 500hp and top line has 730hp, thats 230hp more than Peterbilt 500hp paccar mx13, with better fuel efficiency, less noise and better technology. American trucks and cars are nowhere near european premium technology.
