*CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FROM EPISODE 79 "Thordak" and 80 "Raishan" of Critical Role.
This video is a compilation of Scanlan's round in the two Dragon battle. His refusal to use the flute for unknown reasons, the cast's resolute quest to get Scanlan play his flute. Was one of my favorite moments from Critical Role. His thought process was simply to be astonished at, I really believe, there was a possibility for a scenario where Sam would have never played the flute.
Scanlan truly is the MVP of most if not all Critical Role Episodes. ^_^

Awesome video. While I'm here, I just have to say. Scanlan utterly saved the day. If he'd called in the Bronze before the party were getting ruined by Ryshan, J'mon could possibly have left once Thordak was dead (I believe it had a time limit, correct?). Either way, a Bronze would not take kindly to the party breaking their agreement with Ryshan. Bronzes are notoriously obsessed with order and justice. Not to mention the clutch counter-spell on the Chromatic Beams. FURTHERMORE, Ryshan left because she was low HP and didn't want to fight with an unharmed dragon of seemingly equal strength. If J'mon hadn't been there, she could have just TPK'd the lot of them for being silly enough to attack two ancient dragons in a row. Rant over. TL;DR Scanlan saved the day and mopped up Vaxleth's mess. He's the friggin best.

Sam actually was smart about not using the flute, considering Devo'ssa does FIRE damage. Thordak is immune, Devo'ssa would do minimal damage against him. Better to use Devo'ssa against Raishan.

Yeah, that was Intentional. I just thought if people were Interested in the music they would visit his channel, browse through find their song and probably even subscribe. Anyways, I was gonna link this in the description after someone on the other video made a similar comment just did not have the time to do so. So here it is. The song is called, Vindsvept - Satyr. He didn't want to play the flute because it was a BRASS flute by a BRASS dragon and there were obvious sexual innuendos thrown about. Though this prob. wasn't the whole reason I think that it was a major part of it.
