Introducing you to My Boo - “My Mobile Scanner”
This Portable/Wireless Scanner is of the best investments that I’ve made!! She goes everywhere with me, so I never have to worry about not being able to accept an assignment. After a closing that requires a scan back I go to my car - attach the plug to my adapter and stick it in what we old folks call the cigarette lighter plug. (Hahaha)
Pro’s:
It’s portable
It’s wireless
It’s affordable
It can be written off on my taxes as an expense
Most importantly: I have been able to accept more assignments because I don’t have to go home if I have a scan back.
Con:
It only allows you to scan 100 pages at a time (but it’s not a big deal for me)

I just ordered this scanner last night and can’t wait to use at my signings! It’ll for sure take away that pressure and anxiety when I have to do a 100+ page scan back especially packages that need to use for funding. I have been using a brother scanner that feeds 1 page at a time and takes about 10 seconds for each one 😵‍💫 So if you have a mix of legal and letter size paper is there an option to select both? Or should I choose legal and it will automatically detect letter size papers? Truly appreciate this video!! Super super helpful!

Be mindful that you can only scan 100 pages at a time with this scanner. Unless you purchased an updated model. If I have a package with more than 100 pages, I usually split them and scan 2 files.

Hi Patrice, I did my training through the NNA. To be honest it depends on what you want to get out of the training. NNA gives you the basics… From what I understand Mark does that and has some great Marketing tips.

To answer your questions: I have the Brother MFC 2750DW in my office and the Brother HLL2390DW I believe... in my car. I can plug my scanner up in the car but not the printer. I usually pull up to a Starbucks to print, even the Signers house at times.🤣

Hi! Thank you for this video. I have the same scanner and I am a mobile notary as well. Can you assist with what settings you have to upload large our files, Clearly and small files? I’m having such a hard time. Thank you! Also, how do you set up your scanner with your car? 🙏🙏

Hi, when scanning I find it easier to use the lowest DPI (resolution). It makes the file smaller and easier to upload. You can only scan 100 pages in a file with this scanner so you’ll have to make multiple files. If you’re having issues uploading the file you may need to download them in adopt and compress the file. 🤗

Hi Glenda. I have the Brother 2390 (Laser) printer in my car... it's a Single tray printer with a flat bed scanner, t works. If I get an assignment while I'm out I just print in all legal size paper.

Hi Ki, my scanner rides in my passenger seat and she plugs into the outlet in my car. I use an inverter to connect the power outlet.🤗 I load my documents and start scanning before I pull off from the signing.

Hi, that's a Great Question!! The answer is...honestly, I haven't encountered an issue thus far. (knock on wood) When I'm driving most of the day the air is on and when I'm at home the car is in the garage... So, I hope that's my saving grace.

Hi Marta, you will just need the wifi from your phone. It connects via bluetooth.

I connect vis WiFi-Direct... it connects to my Iphone and uses the cell phone data.

Hello... I was just reviewing your video. I purchased the same scanner and its not working for me. I tried connecting to my desktop and nothing. Tried to connect it to my mobile, and its not recognizing any of my devices...

He Cece, that doesn’t sound good. If you reset everything, deleted the app and tried reinstalling and it didn’t work… call Epson or return it for a new one.🙁

Hey Hey👋🏾 I use an 100 watt inverter. I connect the inverter to my plug and plug the inverter in the power outlet. I demonstrate it in one of my other videos. (the one that shows my car setup)😊

Hi Nicole, you would scan all the letter then all the legal and put them back in order. The PDF sorter tells you what order to put them back in🤗
