The ultimate in portable metrology-grade 3D scanning
SIMSCAN, is the only hand-sized metrology grade 3D scanner currently in the market. It is a groundbreaking innovation due to its small structure and metrology-grade scanning capabilities. It can reach in narrow spaces, or under huge objects, to perform high-quality 3D scanning without any restriction from the working environment.
The metrology-grade measurement system helps capture every detail and construct a 3D model in a very short time. Designed with a minimalism mind set, the metal shell made from aerospace-grade material enables the SIMSCAN to achieve a balance between weight and performance.
The SIMSCAN series currently has three models:

• SIMSCAN 30
• SIMSCAN 22
The all new SIMSCAN-E is the flagship scanner in the SIMSCAN series. It is the first metrology grade blue laser scanner to boast full wireless capabilities. In combination with its edge computing and dual cycle power supply, it redefines what a 3D scanner can be. It can capture 3D data with remarkable precision and efficiency, due to it all new Triple Cross Laser technology at an astonishing speed of up to 6.3 million measurements/s.
The other two models in the SIMSCAN series are the SIMSCAN 30 and SIMSCAN 22. The numbers in the model names point towards the total number of lasers in them. The total numbers of lasers are the key differentiating factor, with the higher number of lasers correlating to a higher scanning rate.
It is perfect for capturing intricate details in objects by utilizing three standard laser scanning modes:
Up to 63 blue triple-cross lasers for ultra-fast scanning
Up to 17 blue parallel lasers for hyperfine scanning
1 extra blue laser for deep hole scanning
It is also compatible with the MSCAN-L15 photogrammetry system. The ScanViewer software can import 3D point data of the markers captured by the MSCAN-L15 to reduce alignment errors and improve the accuracy of scanned data.
