I've not gotten it o. I lost out on a bid on eBay and not attempted since. The ones I'm seeing in Nigeria are shipped from abroad so better I order myself. Though my current thinkdiag is working fine, I'll still get this A30m
Hi, nice video. it seems that the A30M is now compatible with the CAN FD protocol: to check on a recent vehicle.... even if the software interface is almost identical, there are two important things that the A30M does not do: - no display of several graphics on a single screen - no saving of.CSV files (while on old versions this was possible!)
Thanks for the compliment! Yes, I agree on compatibility with the CAN FD. Same as the D7. It's DoIP that they don't yet have. The A30M is actually able to display several PIDs on a single graph. Just select the PIDs, select custom on the tab below and then combine. Yea, I don't see the saving .csv files. Never checked the old versions for it though.
Great video. I was able to get an A30m from aliexpress for $95. Its an amazing unbeatable deal at that price. I want a d7 or similar to have key programming/coding but I dont have many vehicles rn.

Sorry this question is off on a little tangent. But can the Xtool D7/D8 do a PCM reset and Idle Learn on an Honda car? I have a D8 which is functional identical to a D7 but someone said neither can reset the PCM in a Honda car. The guy said I should have gotten a Foxwell NT510. 😢
D7 can do a PCM reset for Honda 100%. Done it myself. Idle learn on Honda to the best of my knowledge is a manual process, doesn't involve scanners. It's: reset PCM, start car, hold RPM at 3000 till cooling fans come on twice. Allow car to idle for 5 minutes. If the cooling fans come on during the 5 mins, discount those minutes. So essentially, you'll only count the 5-minute idle during the times the cooling fans were off.
