I'm so happy you guys keep on playing scape and run. I get that its ridiculously hard and unfair but I wish other youtubers would continue making series on it. And also play the game as a survival horror where you are more nomadic. Why is it always, I must kill them instead I must run away from them before I'm destroyed. Get what I mean. Plus, there are other mods that makes surviving them somewhat possible anyway. Just wished they would make a series as well.
It is stuck on 1.12.2, which is horribly outdated. I doubt that many other RU-vidrs have the patience to play what is essentially rage bait at this point. I applaud and appreciate the boy's patience to continue.
you can't really be nomadic because the parasites follow you (more accurately, their spawning behavior follows you. If it's dark, a parasite spawns, which you can't turn off)
The problem with being nomadic is that it is just uninteresting, if you had an ruined city to explore ok but just eternally walking on 1.12 grasslands would be super boring. It's more fun to try to defend your bunker and see your miserable failure
yo alex's caves had a HUGE new update, they have added a new structure to the primordial caves, a new boss, a new weapon, a new dino, new skin variants for the dinos that you get from the new boss' loot, a new pet that needs a nuke to be spawned, and new secret catagories in the cave compendium for the toxic caves and primordial caves that you can unlock with an extra cave codex
So you know how you did the fungus spore vs alexs caves video? Well alexs caves just updated and now you can get Tremorzilla as a pet! You have to fight a boss in the primordial caves and some other stuff to make the egg, and only then can you hatch, tame, and unleash the kaiju against the spore!
I think you guys should add metallurgy 4: reforged to your mods. It’s not as complex as it looks and the equipment effects are way more interesting than ores above diamond, although I recommend also adding wawla to know what pickaxe you need for certain ores.
Next time you guys do a video, you should consider using the cotesia glomerata addon (maybe even adding it and not telling anyone else that you did) it allows you to become a parasite yourself by becoming infected through a mysterious letter, getting kicked out of your own body into spectator mode, and then attempting to repossess it until the parasite lets you back in under the condition that you work for it.

I'll say again: Scape and Run Parasites is too unbalanced and broken to be scary. No sense of dread, just a bum rush that's dependent on how big the caves are under your house. I wish it was compatible with the Dragon Survival Mod, only then might you get powerful enough to retake your world. No joke, you need some demigod powers to survive.
you can edit the parasites config to what mobs it cant give coth to like for example a dragon from ice and fire mod gets the coth effect and turns into a little incomplete form. but you can blacklist the mob from getting the effect that way mobs like mutant beasts and mowzies mobs can actually fight them without dying so easy
Hello I have a request if you are up for the challenge or your game can handle it the challenge is to have on all infection mods parasites skulk spore and from another world and if you want you could use the dual weld mod good luck if you do it
How do you guys manage different mods/modpacks? Like how you switch between playing in 1.21 with completely different mods than, for example, playing parasites with differnet mods? Do you just have folders with all your mods in them?
It would be amazing if one day they bring Scape and Run to a newer version of minecraft like 1.19. Imagine the scape and run parasites fighting the warden.
