We visit North Yorkshire and the seaside holiday town of Scarborough for a walking tour from the Grand Hotel, down to the beach, seafront and harbour to enjoy the scenery. Come with me!
Scarborough North Yorkshire, a place very close to my heart as it's where my grandad would bring me as a child for my summer holidays and day trips. With the castle on the clifftop, the vast beaches, the amusement arcades and the imposing Grand Hotel looking down on the North Bay, this place had everything I wanted. Does it still? Let's find out!
Nothing beats having a seafront walk in the early morning before the holidaymakers, tourists and visitors arrive and you have the place to yourself. We take a look at the harbour and lighthouse, the fish and chip shops, the ice cream shops, pubs, restaurants, beach and more in this Scarborough walk.
As a travel channel I like to bring you all the tourist attractions, the seaside holiday destinations and Scarborough is one I will return to time and time again. It's a victorian seaside town that's lost none of it's charm and I hope you agree as this walking tour tries to show you the peace and tranquility of a Scarborough morning seafront walk.

2:53 Reminds me of the Hole in the Road that we used to have in Sheffield before the Sheffield City Council ruined the city centre.

I remember the hole in the road Always stank of pee and nobody dare go down there in the end because you'd get mugged by the lowlifes that used to hang around in it!

@@axoscurry. was just in Scarborough, was told it has 365 rooms, one for every day of the year. No idea if it’s true, but is cool if so.

I've been to Scarborough about 30 times in my lifetime coming from Middlesbrough it's just the x93 Arriva bus 🚌down the road " lovely place the last time I was there was August the 29th 2020 you couldn't see the pavement (sidewalk) for people and the people who write about these places say that they are in decline lol 😂 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 .

'No dogs on this part of the beach'....Cue the dogs running about behind the signage 😂 Love Scarborough, we stayed there in February when there was a storm, it was pretty spectacular down on the front. Thanks for the video.
