Created by Nic Bello Special thanks to my wife Valentina who gave me the strength and support to make this miracle happen and to all those who believed and supported us. Love heals all wounds.
Some people don't have the right to call themselves human the way they treat such a beautiful animal, weldone guys for bringing the poor dog out of his fears
This man is so patient with this dog. Obviously this dog has been abused and traumatized. So he needs to slowly try to trust human beings again and get the impression that not all human beings are bad.
I can’t even begin to imagine what this poor creature went through to be so scared and untrusting. People who abuse animals should go straight to hell. Thank you for rescuing this lovely dog with amazing clever eyes and for being so loving and patient with him 💕
Thinking the same how was maltreated this little dog and to be so scared. So much patient and love put this new owner to give trust and fearless to the dog to have a better life
This little doggy is way tooooo beautiful. Beautiful markings, beautiful eyes, beautiful floppy ears, and a beautiful personality just waiting to be discovered. It's just tooooooo much loveliness in one adorable package. Dogs are such amazing creatures.
I am crying watching this. We've also got a dog from the shelter, but our case is harder as she is 11 years old and spent 8 years od her life in shelter. She is extremely fearful. I think she will never be such a playful dog, but we still lover her so so much. She's my world
You know how to love and care, and this makes you a wonderful person for her. I'm sure not every animal can overcome some things, and be more nervous. I hope that someday she will smile and know that you love her so much ♥️
@gocha goska Thank you for saving her, you will get there! I’ve been in rescue for over 20 years and it’s the most intense awesome feeling when the day comes that their walls fall down and they open up. I have a dog we could barley touch, terrified of everything, now he runs for hugs! Trusts people and loves life! Have a strong routine, special treats, and lots of love. You Got This!!!
Thank you for rescuing and not giving up on this dog. I lost my two dogs of 15 years. It was devastating. I found an abused rescue dog. Her love is priceless.
I used to be super impatient and callous in how I treated people.. until I started looking after a dog that'd been abused and had to tip toe and be as gentle as a breeze with her. She really changed my perspective on things. It's weird to feel grateful for a dog. Getting to see the transformation from fear and anxiety to happiness and contentment is truly beautiful.
@@Silvia-rf4yd There's a beautiful quote by His Holiness, The Dhali Llama: " If we, as sentient beings, cannot show mercy and compassion to the smallest of God's creatures; How then, will we learn to show mercy and compassion to each other?
After my Chihuahua "Buddy" died, I never wanted another dog. Three years and three months later my husband convinced me to go to the pet shelter. He found a Chihuahua - Chinese crested mixed dog that was so malnourished, dehydrated, had recently given birth to puppies somewhere and was practically bald! I almost said "NO!" but when she looked at me, something said "YES!". I have no idea what our new dogs have been through in the past but I know they have a future now because of us. Bravo to you and your wife for saving this dog! He is going to blossom just like my dog "Missy"!
Absolutely superbly made video. No inane commentary, just the images speaking for themselves. Touching to see but also sad to see how frightened a dog can become.
I never watch a rescue video more than once, but this one is extraordinary. It is a testament to what all rescue groups should emulate. Bravo Nic and Pancho!
Such sad eyes, he will never be able to tell the way he was badly treated in the past, but now he has regained his trust in humans. What a transformation, lovely to see.
I made a big mistake watching this just before I was going out as I then had to go wash my face and re apply my make up due to uncontrollable sobbing! The world is a better place with these beautiful patient humans in it! 🥰🥰
As a dog trainer I have also worked with dogs like yours for many years. It IS a great job reinstalling confidence in such fearful dogs! Please, don't give up! It IS challenging and hard sometimes and we need a lot more patience than we normally have.... ;-) In return this dog will love you forever! All the best wishes!
That's my difficulty with these videos. I see that dog and I can't get out of my head what can possibly have happened to this angel to make him so terrified for so long. Nick's patience will be rewarded a gazillion times but I would struggle with the heartbreak in the meantime.
@@doriangz Me too, it truly is tough and so I can relate to you. Good thing we have emotionally strong people like him that are willing to heal the dog, which is the hardest part.
@@doriangz I was also thinking that the whole time Boo was under the bed.. I truly wish that those that mistreated this poor dog & other animals that were caught & punished.. They're 100% lowlife coward's who prey on the defenseless.. Loved the patience & will power of Nic,he's a amazing Guy in my book!!👍👍
Some dogs are nervous by nature. I had an English Pointer that the breeder saw would be nervous for life and tried to dissuade me from getting her. She was a daddy's girl and never warmed up to anybody else. She was NEVER hit. I yelled "NO" to her once when she was leaping at the screen door. She looked shocked as if to say, "What was that?" But she NEVER went near the door again it was as if there was a force field around it.
I think the poor dog might have been abused by their former owner and that's why it's so scared. Good for you Nic for being so patient and gentle with the dog.
As a dog owner myself it was distressing to see how sad Boo's eyes conveyed what he was feeling inside hiding under the bed for protection, he must have gone through hell to be in that state by his previous owners. Thank goodness those days are behind him and he has found love and happiness with his new owners, he's a real cutie.
That poor baby.... Someone must have been very cruel to make a dog that frightened. Your patience, kindness and a bit of sausage all in his own time gave your beautiful boy the courage to trust.... Bravo and blessings from the US.
Same here, I Love animals so much. My baby Preston passed away almost three years ago. And I miss him so much. My husband use to tell me, you love Preston more than you love, and I would just laugh.
This is a true example of what adopting a rescue is and thank you for showing this! It’s hard work, patience and a lot of unconditional love, it can be so difficult but it worth it! What you did is so beautiful, and thanks for documenting it because I feel that animal adoption is too often “romanticized” when in reality people need to be READY to adopt! It’s not a game. It’s beautiful! And your dog is adorable.
@@sage6336 lol I never said that but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see when an animal has been mistreated. Even a dumb person could see this. Well maybe not a dumb person as we all can see here but most people can see this. Try owning an animal so you can learn them. Well on second thought maybe out of everyone you shouldn't own any. Nothing that depends on ya. Some people are just not bright and don't understand animals 😁
Wow that took a great deal of patience you did a great job with this baby he must have been threw so much it was beautiful to see him finally brave enough to come outside then to play was the best you guys are great! Thank you for all you did for him he is such a beautiful pup ❤
Boo didn't want to go outside, when he did he was enjoying himself so much he didn't want to go inside. Your patience with boo will be rewarded. Thanks for giving him a wonderful forever home. 👏👏👏👏😁😁😁
The last time a human put a leash on me,it didnt end so well. My pit/lab mix still has trust issues, until she head buts me at night and wants a belly rub.
I had a relationship like this with a cat. Buddy moved into my house on a rainy night. I had no choice. He just kinda slipped in when I opened my door. Took cover under my bed. Hard pressed to get a wet cat outta where it wants to be, especially on a rainy night. His will was stronger than mine, I gave in. Only took a week or so. I got myself a cat. Like it or not, I am now property of a willful feline. Owned. RIP Buddy.
You can see in his eyes, he WANTS to trust you. I wonder what horrors he has to overcome. I took in a beagle that was scared of everybody and everything. It took years but she became very outgoing with people. 2 problems, I could not pick up newspaper in her sight and a chance meeting with one of the children from the household that I got her from had her in a near panic. The latter set her back to being scared for a few days. I hope you have as many wonderful years ahead of you with a very loving dog. I got 12 years of pure love from my Daisy. She overcame 5 years of abuse and became a very happy hound. I miss her everyday.
Our dog was like that when we adopted her from a shelter. She is with us 9 years now, a great, clever, loving dog, but still frightened of other people, especially men.
You wonderful, magnificent people! I am sure I speak for everyone who has watched this video when I say you deserve a medal of honour for the work you have done with this poor waif. The transformation you accomplish in his physical appearance, his manner, and his confidence is as astonishing as it is heart-warming. God bless you!
Over my almost 69 years of life I have rescued several scared/abused stray dogs and what has always been required is loving patience which you have a ton load! Your dog will become a loyal and loving companion!
Never had I imagine being so happy to see a did running around in a yard. Blessings to those who dedicate there time and money helping abused and abandoned animals. GodBless!
Two more earth angels, quietly going about their work, making life worth living for this poor, badly treated dog. May they all live long, happy and healthy lives.
Beought tears to my eyes seeing this scared lil pup running and enjoying life!!! Thank you for loving this very special boi!! Can't wait to see more!! He is a lil doll baby....Too cute!!
