Just taking a quick look, it looks like you have a solid grasp on high poly modeling ... and I think the title you picked out "hardsurface concept design" is appropriate. :) I think you need to keep going, refining your design skills, expand the portfolio and do things to make yourself visible. It'll happen, you definitely have the ability.

Wow, that seems surprising to me. I definitely enjoy high poly and texturing the most. But I must say low poly and uvs can be quite relaxing. To each their own I guess. Baking is hit or miss for me. On one hand I love it because it's finally shaping up as a finished model. But on the other, I don't enjoy troubleshooting bakes. Especially on client work where some of the baking restrictions can be so limiting.
Yep, that mesh was hit with a lot of booleans. I mean, it still saves time in the end and it's usually clean but this time ... things went a little pear shaped.
