This song has been here for so long and it doesn’t have the attention that it should have or get. Too many blind men and children could never understand this Diamond in the dirt life lesson (song). This song made me keep a voice in my head (conscience) about the life we live in the hood. Sadly our kind don’t understand or ever will and be caught up in the system for being weak minded and godless within themselves as humans.

Today is Thanksgiving. I am reminded of my success through this song. Being poor in the hood is always hard. I'm from Watts, CA. Some of us wise up and make it out in one piece. The soul maybe tainted, but we make it out alive. We can ask for forgiveness from God when we get there. I'm thankful today for being able to see 2017.
