I mean who would possibly think a big dog in a cute costume is mean? I help at a shelter and even something as simple as a bowtie can change how people see a dog. We had a pity that was used for "practice" I think, and she was littered in scars. You couldn't see them but you could tell where they were because her fur grew back a diff color. A lot of people were put off by her look until we put a big pink bow around her neck, then everyone wanted to love on her. She did end up with a good family and has 2 siblings now. Cute accessories are the secret to owning a friendly big dog

Glad Dr. Chris was able to find a solution for the big, friendly dog. From other videos I've seen, particularly Rachel and Jun (I think that's the one), I get the impression that folks in East Asia generally have a fear of large dogs. Maybe large dogs are quite rare because that part of the world is so densely urbanized, so there aren't many opportunities to meet one.

Dogs were not considered pets period until like the 80s in China; older Chinese especially can view dogs as we might view rats, possums, raccoons, etc. It's definitely a lack of exposure!

Laughing at the hissing sounds they put in for Charlotte. Girl is literally gently tongue-flicking the camera and doesn't bite the stick. She strikes twice and bumps the camera but is otherwise very relaxed. She's a sweetie and should be treated as such!

I love the Flying-Foxes with a passion, but nobody beats a micro-bat when it comes to battitude. They think they are huge and scary. They are such amazing characters, and Tolga Bat Hospital does incredibly important work for these key species.🖤🇨🇦

The ferocious little pup that Dr Ricci took care of looks like it is part chihuahua. They are a Mexican breed of dog and can be very fierce and protective.

Complements to the cameraman in the bag with the Python. And the chihuahua thiller was qite a nailbiter. Wow! My heart is rushing. I love Australia but I am so scared of spiders so this was a nightmare to watch for me, but I did. So now I need to watch another film with babyanimals to calm me down. Thank you for this time. That Grandma and the snake 🐍 I can relate, We live out in the country. One day when my grandchildren were visiting, a snake crawled out from underneath the freezer. I actually grabbed my boots and grabbed the snake and took it outside to the field! My husband was surprised, I told him, our grandchildren are in the next room, I want to protect them, I don’t particularly like snakes either. Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️

Trying a female for the nervous dog was an amazing idea, sometimes men come off a little scary to dogs..so when you can't get close to one it's best to grab a woman to try instead. I wish more would train their small dogs for situations like this, it makes your vets job easier when your dog was trained and socialized to be more calm and confident; however the little dog in this episode may also be reacting this way because of the wound and the uncomfort the glue is causing.

For the super glued little dog, anything oil based may have begun breaking down the glue much faster than whatever solvent they first used. At the very least, it would have stopped the glue from adhering further to her skin and fur.

The little dog with the Super Glue. The best way to get that off is to use copious amounts of Neosporin where the glue meets the skin to protect it. Then use 100% Acetone to break the bond. Having been a nail technician for many years I know how to deal with super glued skin! Lol

BiG friendly dog would probably rip the head off anyone who threatened his owner. I think it's a herding animal? The best kind of a guard dog is a friendly one. I once was gently removed from a stable of race horses I had wandered into by two immense Great Danes, each took an arm carefully in its mouth and simply walked me outside. I loved it.

Had that been my mom with the snake, she'd either passed out or ran away screaming. I keep trying to tell her, it's just a garden hose with eyes (we don't technically have any deadly snakes in our country, in fact we only have 3, water snake, grass snake, and european adder/viper, the last one is only really dangerous if you're allergic).

They could have used Rubbing Alcohol to remove the super glue. I glued my fingers together. That is how I got them apart. Rubbing Alcohol will brake up the glue

The fun part about owning "scary" looking dogs. Due to the media doing what it does, certain dog breeds are treated like the devil incarnate. Own a pitbull that's never showed aggression in the US and see how far you get without being spit on, having poison attempts and god knows what else.

I used to live in a two story house and almost every summer I'd had to chase brown bats out. Lived there for twenty eight years. The last time I had to chase one out, I had woke up one morning and found one hanging on the curtain on the balcony door. I closed the bedroom door so it wouldn't get out into the rest of the house. I opened the balcony door as I'd thought it would fly out but it didn't. So I thought I would chase it out with something. I saw a paper towel tube and tapped the bat with it. It flew back into the room, which scared me and I fell back and in the process twisted my knee. I barely made it to the end of the bed where I sat. The bat landed on the bed beside me. I waved the core at it and it flew out the door. It looked like it was sad to be flying in the daylight. Thankfully I didn't see another bat and have since moved. God bless.

I love when I'm walking and a big, scary dog, comes in my direction. The aggressive dogs bark and don't go straight to people, when they come directly to me, they're usually super friendly and I end up on my knees hugging a lovely big puppy while their owners are like "oh well at least they look happy"

Dressing them up cute absolutely helps, it makes them appear more friendly to those who may be afraid of larger dogs; dress them up in a cute animal onsie and they'll look like a big stuffed animal!

Bats are my most favorite animals. My first tattoo was of 8 bats - It''s a night scene one in the center, and seven others in negative space around it. I love bats. Having then permanently inked on my skin shows this. So glad Dr. Chris was able to get all of the oil off of Millie.

If you get superglue on something it shouldn’t be on, get acetone (nail polish remover) and apply to the glued area! I’ve gotten superglue on my fingers and it was uncomfortable, but a bit of acetone loosens it up easily.

Yea exactly! Its really the owners fault in most cases. I knew someone who would mess with their dog until it growled and bit him and then blamed it on the dog because "Small dogs are just mean"🙄

Acetone dissolves cyanoacrylate glues. It's not wonderful to get on your skin for long periods but it'd be fine for this. If anesthesia isn't an option the power of chemistry can save the day.

I'm kind of confused about the lady's husband who "stomped" on a funnel web spider before and got sick. How would that have happened unless he used a bare foot/body part instead of a shoe, for example...? Or maybe when cleaning up the mess he came in contact with it that way? 🤔

Since I am a native Missourian (US), I thought the diamond python was absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!! I would love one but here they cost around $2,000 (USD)!!! Great job Dr. Chris!! The dogs always and completely, steal my heart. Great job Dr. Ricci treating Lottie!!!!!!!! Every time I watch Bondi Vet, I wish I was an Aussie too!!!!!!!!!!! You ALL are wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A large Bravo! to Tim for catching that creepy spider!!!!!! You can keep them in Australia!!!!!!! Last but not least, the bats are also cute!!!!!!! 🙂

In the Super Glue Segment I was vocalizing, "Acetone! Nail Polish Remover with Acetone!". I glued my fingers together at work one day and the Acetone Nail Polish Remover fixed the mess very quickly.

I love bats and snakes, ever since I was a child. I brought a snake to my teacher and was punished for it because of how scared they were of the snake, not cool
