third story genuinely freaked me out. hearing about his history of sleep paralysis and seeing human figures inside his house while home alone is just too creepy lol
It only ever happened when he lived with his parents, so if it was the robbers my next best guess is somebody is living in their home that shouldn’t be.
@@someoneout-there2165 i'm one of those people who experience it often and usually it's shadow people 0-0 ( my last one happened about a month ago and whatever it was it was on my back and holding me down so i couldn't breathe but i scared it away by fighting back after a minute or two but nothing has happened since then)
I’m really glad I’ve never experienced sleep paralysis before. It sounds like a terrifying experience that nobody should have to endure. To be honest, it’s not really the figures themselves thats scary, it’s the thought that your brain is the thing doing that to you. For some reason, your brain decides to terrify the crap out of you by showing you demonic-looking creatures in your house. Again, glad I’ve never personally experienced it, because I don’t know that I would ever emotionally recover from it 😬 But to be honest, I feel like that isn’t even the scariest part of the story to me. It’s that the dude looks scarily like the intruder from the Mandela Catalogue 😟

Completely agree with you. I also don't get those people that have windows that are the size of an entire wall, and have nothing on them for even a hint of privacy. I don't care if the nearest neighbors are 50 miles away. I'm definitely the type who prefers curtains and/or blinds. 🪟🤷♀️😄

We see him act as if the cause of the door is interacting with him, yet we see the cause of the door is still out there attempting to avoid the camera they used for footage. He then interacts with nothing in an exaggerated manner for the camera, no actual deviations from routine, making huge gestures to signal nothing even when if he were with an actual person, he would only need smaller gestures and to use his words to direct them. So let's eliminate what it can't be. Can't be the supernatural, doesn't need to be proven that it isn't since there is no proof that the supernatural exists, and much proof people made it up. Just like you wouldn't suspect this was Santa Claus or the tooth fairy for that same reason, and the onus of proof is on people making that claim, and they never provide evidence. Now two options remain. The security guard simply saw the door opening and decided to play along with a glitch. Seems plausible but then how would he not see the figure that clearly activated the door? Why would he be moving so exaggerated? Why would anyone go through the footage and release it to the internet for a random joke in what's likely actual days worth of non stop footage? So the last option that explains both why the figure was hiding from the camera and the guard didn't see him. He expected him to be there and ignored him. He was using overexaggerated gestures just like they do in theatre, because it conveys the message for the "audience" who can't see close up. He could have used his words to convey the same message but the camera had no footage. Yet we can see when he wants this made up person to "come here" "ask you some questions" "let you through" "leading you" and "give you directions." We can tell a lot more than we normally should from his body language. And finally it explains why this exact time frame in hundreds of ours of footage was even found: they wanted it to be recorded to release a "spooky" ghost video. None of this is out of the realm of possibility or even out of the ordinary. I'm explaining thoroughly for the sake of your understanding my point but this thought process should be automatic like it was for me. It's _obvious,_ you've got to learn to hear hoof beats and think horses instead of zebras. And when you eliminate the impossible, whatever left, however improbable, must be the truth.

That last story was really scary. Hearing something outside of the supposed safety of your home only to realize later that someone or something could have also been inside your home. Scary stuff I wish no-one would have to experience.
With a recent update snapchat now shows your EXACT coordinates if you have your location on. If you're in your house it shows the exact location. So if you still use it at least turn off your location and be safe. Merry Christmas!
It also has a feature where u can have it off or on or ypu can make it so only certain ppl can see your location. Like for mine only my siblings and bf can see my location. Not anyone else I have on the app. Like doo ppl fr not know this?
I don't get how people so easily volunteer their information on social media. An ex bf stalked me in my formative years in college and I deleted all my social media and never went back to any personal sharing ones. Crazy.

Yeah they’re very spooky and entertaining. I am not convinced most of them are true. Americans more than any other nationality seems to have an obsession for being infamous and that’s the real reason people will often create stories for themselves rather than say I’m ordinary and nothing crazy has ever happened to me.
I deleted all my social media. RU-vid is pretty much the only platform I get on. There are a lot of unstable and insidious people on social media. I’m older now but as a teen, the countless older men who tried to prey on me still affects me to this day. It’s disturbing to know that there were strange old men on my old social media pages. I have daughters of my own and I told them they cannot have social media until they’re older. My husband doesn’t want me or them on social media either and I’m fine with that.
Yeah, youtube is also the only social media platform i use, i dont even have facebook or reddit😅🥲 even if im old enough for things like tiktok or snapchat, those things just seem unsafe, especially instagram for some reason😭
Cuz it was supposed to. Very well known internet creepy story that was fabricated. Any video like this that starts having tons of lore/backstory is very obviously fabricated.

the thing i like the most about Mr.Nightmare is that first- he has no advertisements or unnecessary sound in between and second- that the experiences about other people he talk's about is something that we should follow in our daily life because we now know what happens if we become a bit careless. its informative and I love it its not haunted as in some ghost popping out or hearing creepy sounds its about the general life we live which has many monsters standing in plain sight and feeding off of our interest and many more.
Really good video! Definitely some of the most disturbing Snapchat backstories that I've ever heard... I have Snapchat on my phone, but I only really use it occasionally. And I've always had Snapmap turned off. I don't want every Tom, Dick and Harry knowing my location... Merry Christmas, Mr. Nightmare, and everybody else in the comment section that celebrate it. 😊
Someone could still probaly use the app to get ur location The code is there its just switched off So Someone who knows what they are doing could probaly switch it on without u knowing Which would probaly be far easier than gaining direct access to ur phones gps location

It's been theorized that the third story was completely fabricated, since if my memory is correct, it was posted on r/nosleep. Typically that subreddit exists for creepypastas and scary stories. There's no possible way that he wouldn't have been able to see that figure in the corner when he passed it the first time, and the connection between his sleep paralysis and the figure in the first video just seems way too coincidental to many people
@@TheDano1971 I have done this multiple times when i was still in college. You have to remember guys dont think "safety in numbers". So theres been times when my friends called it early while i was still having a good time at a party so theyd leave but id stay until basically it was over and just head home after by myself.
I mean, and this is in no way saying that it’s real but, if I was in that situation I wouldn’t have noticed. Some people just have terrible perception, and sometimes you’re too busy doing your thing to notice someone staring at you from outside your door
I don't use Snapchat and I don't know what different features it provides [except the streaks which makes no sense and is a waste of time] that other apps like Instagram do.

Saying “I’m calling the cops” is very clearly a statement a person says to make another person panic as they are being threatened verbally, so saying that is only going to piss a person w mental issues off even more & possibly push em to do something more. & in story one that’s exactly what happened.
