El Reno, Oklahoma 2013. Biggest tornado ever recorded. I lived on the top of a 6 story apartment building. All I could do was watch it coming towards me. 😢

Scotland-19 & 6ft snow the trees were realy decimated so many had fallen. My friend got out the car and disappeared, the snow was covering a ditch and was so deep she was completely gone, hehehe so funny after she was pulled out. Hong Kong Typhoon OMG my friends flats were in a land slide up to the 8th floor was all mud. The roads in the centre were fast flowing rivers. It was very scary my flat backed on to the big hill you see in every picture of Hong Kong. I phoned my mum in the UK and said I'm alright, she had know idea about what had happened, 8 people died.

Never been in a tornado (thank goodness). Worst was windspeed of 12 which is hurricane strength. We couldn't sleep at home since it was a wooden shed at the time. Hardly slep that night. And yes, mother nature can be very moody 😂😂😂

Reminds me of a place in the UK, Sevenoaks. One storm later it should have been renamed Oneoak.

I was in a ‘windhoos’ in Deventer in the Netherlands. That is a tornado, but not as strong as in the USA. Maybe a category F0,5. But it was scary as hell and all the trees in the park were down and the roof of our office was gone…

i never seen a tornado in 34 years. the most was a strong wind.

In 2004 I was on holiday in the Dominican Republic and on August 14 we would fly back to the Netherlands. On the 13th we were told that we were not allowed to go outside because of Hurrican Charley which would pass the island of Dominican R and Haiti in the direction of Miami . It was so strange and also a bit frightening to see the fierce storm on the beach and part of it had been swept away. The next day it was exciting whether the plane could fly, but okay that was possible. There was a warning of considerable turbulence, which fortunately was not too bad and no one was really afraid, only when the steward said into his microphone *To your left you can see Hurrican Charley* 😳 😱😅 luckily he said right after that we will not be bothered by that because of the enormous distance. That is and was the first and last hurrican I saw live 😁
