We can hear baroque music when you play Scarlatti, young Margherita! BRAVO!!! I wish you success and endless concerts so the people can listen to your magnificent piano voice!❤
An amazing surprise. Listening to your playing makes us forget these sonatas were written for clavicembalo, so “pianistic” they sound. Scarlatti is pure joy and certainly would be proud to hear you playing. Greetings from San Paolo del Brasile.
Your interpretation of K 118 would make Domenico smile with joy! No one knows for sure how his measures marked “Tremulo” should actually be played, but you provide a wonderful variety of examples showing how these rising runs of tremulo notes can be played. With your graceful accuracy in the hand-crossing passages you have given a master class performance. I am so thrilled to have discovered your recordings and I look forward to more!
a delightful discovery. I love Scarlatti and I play some of his mournful ones (K 87, K213, k 466). Your interpretation of these pieces makes me imagine Grigory Sokolov, my favorite pianist. Thanks for posting.
@@margheritatorretta9825 If you have the time, I would love to hear your version of my most favorite Scarlatti sonata: K 87. He composed this piece, I believe, a year after his beloved wife (and mother of five children) died. I’ve listened to Mikhail Pletnev’s version of this sonata the most. Thank you dearly. 😌
I listen to a lot of Scarlatti as he is a favorite and I really like your understanding of this music. Your way with the music is quite original but yet also natural, relaxed and it feels just right. I never felt a moment that missed the mark. Great work
Come piace a me!
