The Scarlet Honeyeater is the cardinal of honeyeaters. With drought then flood the Australian Honeyeaters have experienced the climate change threat and numbers have taken a plunge especially in arid zones. The spring of 2023 has been positive for the more coastal scarlet honeyeater with a flush of birds on the east coast necessitating review and a new presentation.
