Virgin Voyages cruise ship Scarlet Lady collided with a mooring dolphin while attempting to back into her dock at Port Miami terminal V at approximately 556am Sunday July 16 2023. With Carrie at the camera controls, both our cameras caught the moment of impact and the response maneuvers. Scarlet Lady suffered a dent and hull perforation above the water line at her starboard aft corner. She has been undergoing repairs all day and into the night in an attempt to get her cleared to depart on her next trip. She is loaded with passengers and still undergoing repairs as of 1040pm EDT Sunday night. This puts her almost 5 hours behind scheduled departure time.
