This film was an AMAZING! This is some serious art right here. The acting, the music, the story, EVERYTHING was well thought out. and the camera work was INCREDIBLE. What stuck most in this film was the ending. Very sad ending, but at least Scarlet did what was right even though she knew that she would be ending her own life. I was very impressed with all the different-aged women who played Scarlet. EXCELLENT!
One thing that you have to know. There are no Good or Bad witches. Every witch is good and bad at the same time, there is only a line where they can be better or worse. Like nature. It is good and bad.
Really good short movie with a great atmosphere and a beautiful scenery. I didn't expect the twist regarding the identity of an original witch, and the ending was powerful and unexpected. The cast was all pretty convincing too, especially the witch #1. My only complaint may be that I don't think the voice-over was really necessary. You got talent. I hope you will also work on bigger projects.
Mislav Yeah, the narration isn't my favorite part. Damn... watching this again is nostalgic. Still not sure if I ever saw the longer 2014 version in its entirety. Should look into that sometime.
Even before the end I knew that she would do some difference..it is the only thing I thought that could make this short story some difference at the end and indeed I was right.
It's a wonderful film. Among the ones that collapsed there are also women. I think that when Scarlet broke the Sand-clock, maybe all selfish people died. It doesn't matter if they have contact the witch. Their selfishness kill them.
Thats just what I was thinking...I think the moral of the story is that selfishness will kill you eventually, both in a figurative and literal sense. Even though Scarlet became noble at the end she still couldn't escape the consequences of her selfishness going all the way back to her childhood.
Awesome! Camera work was better than a lot of Hollywood films! What talent! Use that talent for God, and He will do AMAZING things with you! God Bless!
I went to the Premier showing of this one in Tallahassee at the FSU center yesterday! Freddie seems to have a neat community of friends who really make great films together!
I remember watching this a few years ago and its still one of my favorite films, i wish this was a movie, i subbed to you guys cause of this film i love it so much
Wonderful film, it's really bombarded with mysteries leading to a nice twist at the end. The acting were fascinating and so the lines. I can't help but watch it a couple of more times...

awesome :))))) i've always felt that it is the loneliness and being the social outcasts that drives most of the people to the worst of evil (tho there are other reasons)... tho this was bit melodramatic yet it has a variety of messages which could be taken up :)))
Amazing. Using the sacrifice of Christ, but using a WHOLE different story and everything to portray the idea of one dying for many. Beautiful. You guys are great with coming up with this stuff and thinking out side the box in a true nature. NICE!! Keep up the good work!

I liked it. However, I think some of the narration could have been cut. I felt talked down to when the narrator TOLD me the witch was there when, a second later we would see her in the background. i also feel it made the scene itself a lot less effective.
wow i know you have heard this many many times but this was simply amazing...the story line was perfect, the picture was perfect, the editing was perfect...i mean everything was perfect for a no budget short film...simply amazing..keep up the awesome work.
This was an amazing film, it took a simple tale and made it both surreal and beautiful in its construction. I'm usually really picky over films like this, but your film was lovely. I really admire your ability to keep it subtle, nothing was lost, or overburdened the audience. Great job! :-)
