Something else that wasn't mentioned is Wanda trapping Chthon within the pages of The Darkhold and absorbing the book into herself, like how is the struggle to keep her sanity not an ongoing story thread in this book
I think this is just an incomplete understanding of the character's history by the author and a blind eye by the editing team - common in this day and age. No one is concerned about canon anymore and nothing that is written lasts for more than a few years unless there is a strict mandate.
That´s cause the constant state of her worrying about Cthon was what has been threatening her sanity in the first place. Now that she has absorbed him and alot of his influence, she now has some peace of mind, at least for now.
Not quite Wanda’s daughter, her mom has brainwaves based on Wanda though similar to Vision and Wonderman. That said Wanda is the pinnacle of messy confusing family ties so she might as well be seen as a step-daughter of sorts
Thunderbird was a character that came back from mutant heaven. He died before Cerebro back ups were a thing so he wasn’t able to come back until Wanda created the mutant heaven.
The issue u had with this comic is the issue I had with Marvel as a whole. I'm just done with the same things thrown at us and sweeping all the promising things under the rug like it never happen. (The Heaven she created, Everyone's judgment in Judgment Day and Reckoning War including Power House powers.) All good things but as of now it's either not spoken of or over shadowed for various reasons and I'm just over here wanting fresh new ideas.
I F*CKING LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS ISSUE!! Family issues piling up, and it is about to be EVEN MORE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Eldritch Orchard can wait, family comes first. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Glad someone else mentioned dthe Kaiju thing that it's so weird and only happening to. X-men or X-adjecent characters as of late. I honestly at this point I'm surprised they haven't brought back that Inhuman who can summon Kaiju through his drawings😂.
Maybe she's going to have to put Vivienne in the heaven to be reborn as a mutant? The monster's are a part of this reborn world, it'll probably be tied to one of the sinister's. Something of sinister's will probably take away everything that's made the mutants interesting again. I'm going to be so mad if they take away their planet or even island.
I'm wondering if this is the same Darcy we saw depicted in live action by Katt Dennings in WandaVision & the Thor franchise because the character does look similar to the actress
When did Scarlet Witch become Vivian’s mother? I must’ve missed that because I thought there was a limited series where the Vision created an AI mother (and family)
Lots of things were changed but to put it simply, when she was introduced her main power was her hexes but she didn't have much control of it. Then she meets Agatha Harknes who notices her hex powers have magical nature and then teaches her magic. Before retocons her powers bordered magic and mutant powers. Nowdays I think it's just magic.
1. This is not an X-book comic, at least it's not marketed as one. 2. I feel y'all are overreacting concerning the whole Kaiju thing. They've always been big monsters in comics so idk where the Kaiju fatigue is coming from. 3. Thunderstrike did come out from the Elysian Fields. Also, Northstar adopted daughter was added to the resurrection cue from the Elysian Fields. After Magento died in IXM, It's mentioned that he could come back via the waiting room but he has to want it. So your statement the mutant heaven not being mentioned is false.
@Comic Breakdown You said Kaijus were a reoccurring thing in X-Men comics and that is why I'm saying this not an X-Men men comics. Huge monsters are a norm, even though though I understand it seeing AXE, Gerry Dugan's X-men and trial of Magento, I still think it's not that bad. You said nobody has been resurrected via the Elysian Field but Thunderbird has been brought back via the mutant heaven so I just thought I'd correct you on that.
@@ayomthe17th yes one person has been resurrected and even then they didn’t elaborate on mutant heaven. And yes Kaiju are a reoccurring thing in marvel comics in general to be used and thrown away.
Indeed! Since bendis F'ed her up, she's been all over the place. These current writers have no clue on Wanda's history before "M-day." Soon after she was introduced into the mcu/non mutant...it was "make up $#!+ as you go along."
@@new_yawker901 i mean stay upset about everything you do till bored to death if you want just becuz you can't appreciate fictional stuff like Wanda story sou,bye.. 🙄
I think Orlando is downgrading the powers of sw....he doesnt even know when in marvel you consume a deamon you get his powers....thats how strange supreme got so powerful in what if....but wanda got no ppwers from consuming chthon thats unfair
@@antigoku2083 she made no sense to begin with. She has little reason to be in a Wanda comic. Do folk really want a female Vision or does Marvel want to push it? It’s feeling like a Woke Wanda story and I don’t buy Marvel Woke. The stories are always amateurishly assembled and my dollar is too valuable.
@@carljensen333 She is part of Wanda's family and she does need help, magical help, based on the synopsis. I don't think you have a single cent to even buy this.
I wish Marvel would just retcon _House of M_ and _Avengers Disassemble_ were the result of a supervillain and Wanda is completely innocent. I just can't root for a murderer who killed innocents and never went to prison.
@@whipedge ain't no need for that when there's so many obscure characters around her current level are characters so obscure they can be retcon to her level to build a story around her with
the comics are trash now. even when the plots are good, the climaxes are underwhelming. like, i just read the climax for x-men red, where storm fought vulcan, and it was so underwhelming. same with judgment day and a lot of the other stuff.
Comics nowadays are horrible. Wanda created a mutant heaven? That's just stupid. Comic writers are making it impossible for me to read anything that they write.
Hi ! So idk much about comics but I love the Scarlet Witch, I've read the Witches Road issues from 2016 and I was wondering where does The Red Door is compares to Witches Road, probably after ? And I was also wondering if I should go for the Red Door series or Midnight Suns or Contest of Chaos... Please help 🙏🏼😅
@@comicbreakdown thanks a lot ! The comics aspect of the Marvel Univers is so wide it's nice to have channels like yours to help newbie like I to know where to go. I'm gonna order the Last Door issues and still gonna try Midnight Suns after that, the mystical/esoteric vibe of those comics is just amazing and I just love Wanda and Agatha
