Funny how some months ago Lambo as trying to explain to chat why broods are bad in late games vs toss and I told him "To use broods you should neural a probe and use recall". But when he read that he was like "That's unironically the best suggestion I've had from chat" and went to custom game to try it out. I really love and hate players like Scarlett and Astrea for instance. Both absolute top, crazy strategies, insanely good, will do anything to kill you and make it look great and easy but on some days both of those I mentioned look mediocre and loose to stupid stuff even from lower lvl players and it's wildly annoying to watch.

So much fun? They abducted units for 30 minutes and that was all the interaction. The Broodlord recall was the only cool thing, but I hoped she'd support her units with a Mothership instead. SC2 is boring. I wish there was a balance mod competition. Not just 70 new races with lots of quirks because SC2 gameplay is the problem. SC1 BW looks so much more fun on Artosis' channel. I think it's due the unit sizes and how much slower a whole army can close the distance to the enemy. If the whole army can all at once, then there's no point in holding different areas on the map and thus map design basically doesn't matter.

One reason for a late game Phoenix is because the Phoenix can pick up a burrowed Lurker, and even just drop it, and it returns to the ground unburrowed. So it can be a handy trick sometimes.

Scarlett is the reason you should be proud of playing as Zerg.

I'm proud of myself for figuring out she was going to neural parasite a probe and make a nexus, but I couldn't figure out what protoss unit she was going to tech into. Nothing I thought of seemed to make sense!

The Phoenixes? Well, you can make them fast at least and there were a lot of air upgrades. (Edit: Also supply-efficient. Perhaps they did fit in at the moment.) He was trying to warp in DTs vs the Ultras, but he couldn't send back the Tempests to clean up the Overseers perhaps (?) Stalkers wouldn't have been reliable with Ultras on the ground. But Voidrays would have made as much sense if not more, I think.

the big brain move isn't so much the recall as it is killing her own tumors while leaving the probe alive (also that's why if you sacrifice a worker you should make it attack stuff so they're forced to engage with it =p)
