@@JabamiLain She wasn't doing it for a sense of justice, she's doing it because she likes blood. It's pretty clear she's completely out of her mind, she just happens to be able to practice on a horrible person. So yeah, doesn't matter what the result is, she's still evil.
@@dagonofthedepthsah ! Ok. Thank you for clarifying. Quick question, do you think Kyioko from the "Cinderella" story is a Wolf too ? Or do you think she's like Scarlet, a human who's into the wrong stuff ?
@@JabamiLain I think you misunderstood me. All 3 characters are psychotic. In context to what we see, the women are presented as more sympathetic but at the end of the day all 3 are horrible people. Who thing between wolf and scarlet is they are essentially the same person just with different prey. Cinderella, yeah, her family were all horrible people, but she used them as entertainment before discarding them. Really no reason to think she won't do the same to prince charming. Short of it is at end of the day they are all pretty much just the worst of humanity, but they are all just really disturbed people.
@@dagonofthedepthsand you misunderstood me. When I asked if she was "simply into the wrong stuff", I was asking if she did it simply because she liked it, or because she was a non-human who found doing these things as natural as breathing ? I was not sympathizing with any of the women. They're charming, but complete creeps.
@@ZoeReed-bp5wswell, congratulations. I like it very much. Just for trivia, since I still haven't managed to see the full show. Why are they legalizing serial killing ? How does that counter virtual reality ?
Well, we are talking about the Grimm Tale where Riding Hood and the Huntsmen filled the wolf full of stones and let it live to feel it all. So transferring that to an anime with humanoids....well
Satisfying as hell to watch a monster get his comeuppance…and I like that approach to all of the bloodshed. If you’re in this game, you don’t care if you’re predator or prey…you just want to play the game in any way you can. This whole series is fucked up and upside down and I love it!
Me too. I may come to crossover some of the stories with "Kingdom Hearts". That said, here are some theories: -I think Gretel did exist at some point, but due to an old japanese superstition of twins bringing bad luck, the parents, in the anime, must have killed her, leading Hansel to create his own Gretel. But then he travelled to another world (which I'm starting to think might be ground 0 for a future adaptation of Peter Pan), and unable to let her go, especially because he was the only child there, he created a split personality, leading him to become that woman in Pied Piper. The question now is how he got the cloak, which must be the explanation as to how he acquired that form in "Pied Piper".
I wonder what "Kingdom Hearts" would look like if it had these stories and their vibe. Perhaps then, finally more of the cast would meet some much needed karma. I can actually see "Red Riding Hood" story being integrated in the "Union Cross" storyline. It would be SOOOOO fun to have her as an antagonist. Perhaps someone who's rejected by both light and darkness, due to how insane she is.
Speaking of "KH", there are two fics of it that may interest those in this fandom who know that saga: "The Twilight Will" - a Roxas centered fic in which he refused to merge back with Sora. Gathering all of his power, he escapes, travelling to realms beyond "KH" that were unnafected by the war, as such, maintaining light, darkness and nothingness together. Worlds include "American Mcgee's Alice", "God of War" and "Bioshock"; "Sea-Change of Fate" - this one is a fic series. Kairi deviates from the script predicted for her, choosing to accompany Sora, Donald ("Ducktales" reboot version) and Goofy on their journey after "KH 1". Now, the author uses mostly the manga elements (making fights more violent), along with exploring the sexuality of the cast more, it's true. But they integrate it well in the story. Plus, it's refreshing to see Kairi, Sora and Riku behave like actual teens whose hormones and emotions are all over the place. And seeing Maleficent, though a bit unwillingly, bond with the likes of Riku, Vanitas and Naminé is very cute. The cast may feel kinda dirtier, but also more sincere than in canon. So yeah. I suggest these stories here, because like the "Grimm Variations", both explore a dirtier side of whatever it is Nomura may executed more poorly in canon. I highly recommend them.
No, Grey is the wolf still. Scarlet is just more dangerous than the wolf. She didn’t even need the woodsman’s help which was who was missing in the story
Him after he comes back: *eats her alive* “My my, you thought I was gone. But first… let’s put a smile on that face”!!! *screams as she runs in vain* Her: *wakes up in a cell in a straight jacket* Guard: “Hmm… your awake. Gotta say, I don’t blame you for killing him. But, becoming a monster to kill one? Hope it was worth it. Will come get you when it’s time”. *freezes in fear when she realizes the death penalty is a giant wolf*
I wished we had a Marvel based horror game/mini series focused on Power Pack (Warp World version), Franklyn and Valeria Richards. Something "Grimm Brothers" like. Please, tell me there is !
How to summarize these chapters. HAHAHA I'M A PSYCHOPATH HAHA There really is a live action Disney movie where they literally adapt the Grimm brothers' tales and mix them with comedy that is more risky and interesting than this.
I think this is more inspired than direct adaptation and that's why i think it's different than most fairy tale adaptation Also i don't really think they made all the characters as psycopath like with hansel and gretel, the town musicians of bremen They just took inspiration and made their own twist is what i see
This is and Cinderella are the only story where the twist is they're a psychopath, and that's bc they do specific genres for each story. Cinderella was a psychological horror, Red Riding Hood was straight horror, Hansel and Gretel was a mystery, Elves and Shoemaker was a psychological character exploration, and Musicians of Bremen was action. They're all completely different from each other. Kinda sounds like you didn't actually watch these series and stopped at episode 2, thinking you had it all figured out when nope, lmao
@@blackbun130 oh thanks for the info. I hv weak heart for this kind of anime & stop at ep 2, cuz it disgust me. If no gore anymore after ep 2, perhaps I should watch ep 3 onward.
