Considering that I'm a 6 year long Weeknd fanatic- idk man; mind you I've been listening to Scar since Dec 2018 (a bit after DXXM release) and have listened to all his albums to culture myself. But when Dxxm II came out and real life serious depression recently started hitting me in college I've been using Scar *a lot* to cope. And goddamn this new era of him is *really* filling the black empty void with much needed energy and anger and darkness, but in a good way. I find myself starting to listen to all of his music even more now, going back to older projects with a new appreciation and want for his music and his screams. I fucking *loovveee* Scar's screams now. I'm always listening to The Weeknd but I've found myself listen to him less and listen to Scarlxrd more. And you have no idea how big of a statement that is, to me, personally. Abel isn't hitting that...dark itch...like he used to. Scarlxrd is. Scar, you're very fucking close to starting to become my favorite artist. I appreciate you man. Depression sucks ass and I hate everything. I feel like I'm losing my mind and I feel mentally slow and insanely unconfident and anxious. I don't feel like I can live anymore. I don't feel like I can do anything. I feel like I have to keep putting on a smile to my family and act happy when in reality I just want to live in a world that never sees the sun and stay in forever darkness and curl up in a dark corner alone. I can't help myself anymore. I don't feel confident enough to. But your music is helping me. Scarhxurs, не замысловатое название, рассказывающее о трудных часах Мариуса. Ещё с самого начала, со сниппетов, я удивлялся комментариям по типу "готовьте уши к старому звучанию." потому что этих самых сниппетах абсолютно ничего не мешало слышать новый стиль. Ладно, возможно, это не так очевидно, всё таки биты он чуть-чуть доработал на выходе, но голос, голос не кричит со злости, это скорее крик души, который говорит о его борьбе, безысходности. Многие говорят что фанатские обложки к альбому гораздо лучше, нет, они не подходят ему, не потому что они плохие, напротив, это вполне достойные работы, но они стоят на месте, паразитируя на прошлом. Мариус показал нам мрак, запачканым лезвием. Кстати о развитии, люди которые говорили об том что Скар пробует новые границы, выпуская immxrtalisatixn и acquired taste vol. 1, и они были чертовски правы, я как человек с музыкальным образованием это слышу. Dark Knight - отличный пример этому, те самые похожие биты и звучание с vol. 1 только усовершенственые, не забывая истоки, в нём и ещё нескольких треках слышно тот самый Linkin park, которым вдохновлялся Мариус. FACT/FICTIXN. Звучание с immxrtalisatixn, тот же GXLD только усовершенственый. Подача музыки, RIP$AW, первые секунды основного лада и затишье, как в том же всеми любимом faded. Биты похожие на мотор машины, он отлично их доработал со своих неполных треков из альбома thrxwaways as prxmised. Перечислять это всё можно очень долго, я лишь хотел сказать что наш герой не стоит на месте. Меняет стили на новые, которые пробирают до мурашек, разрывающие биты. Никто не замечает что это тот самый Scarlxrd которому наплевать на рамки, которые новатор в прямом смысле этого слова. Уметь скрестить тяжёлую музыку, с рэпом, трэпоп, хип-хопом, настоящий признак профессионализма, Мариус гений и это я понимал ещё с первых альбомов. В этих словах слышно боль и ненависть, то чем scarlxrd также является, для кого то он просто "ого круто орёт" Для меня же и для других многих людей, артист который помогает справляться с депрессией, концентрировать волнение в злость, которая хоть и безумна, но в тоже время контролируемая. Я как истинный фанат Мариуса, могу сказать что это настоящий шедевр, из за таких как Скар я всё ещё верю в то, что мир трэп-метал, рэп музыки, не окончательно прогнил в не подходящих для прослушивания "пердящих" битах, и грязном репе о шлюхах и бабле. Отличная работа. Превосходная. Надеюсь я не один так думаю :) P. S. Ждём клипы. Многие послушают и сделают вывод, что это фигня, а не альбом, "раньше было лучше" и т.д. Но никто так и не выкупит, что это не альбом. Это аудиодневник, в котором Мариус делится с нами своими взглядами на вещи, эмоциями, переживаниями, самокопанием. Эта EPешка в плане текста на полголовы лучше предыдущих, подкупающая своей искренностью. Образ Лорда - пульсирующий сгусток боли, отчаяния, ненависти. Но мало кто из вас это поймёт, потому что вам банально лень открыть Genius и почитать, о чём пишет исполнитель, что он хочет донести. Вам нужен только скрим и ЧТОБЫ ЛИЦО РАЗОРВАЛО УУУУ Хомячки, проходите мимо, этот релиз не для вас, ждите scarhxurs.По-твоему, если у него РЕПУТАЦИЯ ЧЕЛОВЕКА СКРИМА, то он должен сидеть и просто клепать "разрывающие" релизы одним за одним?
