who else was pissed on Halloween when they were expecting to see this, but it never showed up so you kept waiting each year getting even more pissed off
I watch these specials every year on RU-vid because I first saw them on Cartoon Network in 2013, aka the last year they were played on there! Glad we can still see them here!
I love how the plot of this hinges on the fact that Jimmy is so realistically traumatized by the knowledge of monsters being real. Like, him getting scared at the end of the first one wasn’t just a joke he’s for real messed up by it and that’s hilarious to me. I love realistic reactions in in otherwise wacky settings.
I'm 23 and I still come and watch this every year before Halloween. Miss these days man. Every year before going out trick or treating this came on and I would always get ready while watching this. Best pre-game and memories ever. ♥️
I was looking for the wolf in sheep‘s clothing comment. I just figured it out a couple decades after the fact, when I’m cleaning my kitchen. I had one of those big O moments.
It makes me sad that we dont have more squeals of scary godmother...i would of love to see an older hannah trying to make halloween fun as an adult and seeing scary godmother again and maybe falling for a way older orson
I’m just now wondering how jimmy managed to sneak into to not only that many grocery stores but also at night so either the employees are terrible at locking up or he’s good at lock picking
I love how that if even a single group of kid's think that Halloween is ruined, the magical halloween world or "Frightside" would self-destruct. Like holy shit, their world is literally on a lifeline. How can they survive when they can easily fall into ruin?
I like how all it took was one kid kicking in some pumpkins to destroy an entire reality Halloween is banned all around this year so I can only imagine the devastation
Every kids and adults of all ages in the neighborhood loved Halloween a lot, but Jimmy who lives just down the block did not. Jimmy hated Halloween the whole halloween season now please don't ask why no one quite knows the reason, It could be perhaps that his head wasn't screwed on just, right it could be perhaps that his shoes were too tight, but I think the most likely reason of all it may have been that his heart was two sizes too small. But whatever the reason his heart or his shoes he sat there in the kitchen table hating the holiday.
The spirit remains strong all the same lol I'm 21 and the feelings never changed as like a tradition, it in of itself never old. Happy Halloween and Happy Early Birthday to you! 🎃👍
I mean i like monster house and all but they shouldve played this too along with it 😭 this was my favorite every year. I even do the cartoon network line up with my parents on Christmas day after the one viewing of A Christmas Story Chowder, Flapjack, Fosters Homes, Camp Lazlo, Garfield, ect.
I cannot believe that I got Skully being the effeminate 'skeleton in the closet' double entrendre but completely missed that bit about Harry and it's right in our faces. I'm tilted
Man I remember seeing these movies for the first time when I was little. The stylization of the character movements still holds up even though they typically look awkward in 3D format, and the backgrounds are so so good
Is it April? Yes. Am I still watching this? Yes. Do I care that it's basically summer? No. Why? Because I'm weird and PROUD Edit: ever notice how, whenever something goes wrong on the Frightside, it's ALWAYS something Katie said? No? Just me?
I was kinda expecting that in the end Jimmy would get in trouble for almost destroying Halloween and leaving his cousin in a deserted house last Halloween.
The good ol days.. I miss only worrying about what Halloween costume I’ll be wearing, and when this movie came on it took me to a whole new world. I literally couldn’t wait for it to come on every year on tv it was so special. Now these kids have youtube and the internet and can watch it easily. Man I really miss the old days
My girlfriend hates when I say that line in Max's voice. I put more emphasis on "cool" to make it sound like "Coo-well" because I'm of the opinion since he doesn't know what a dork is he would know what this Coo-well thing is these kids talk about these days.
I’m 29 years old nearly 30 and I watched these Halloween specials on Cartoon Network years ago I always come back to these specials for childhood nostalgia purposes loved these growing up
This was my childhood I’m 25 and I still watch this every year when it was on Cartoon Network back when we had cartoon city and I still watch it on RU-vid
12:36. That moment was definitely based off of when the Grinch got an idea during How the Grinch Stole Christmas! How the narrator said it was a nasty idea and all that, plus Jimmy nailed the evil smile!
I watch this every October ‼️ I remember when I was in middle school this use to come on Cartoon Network. It ain’t Halloween month unless I watch these movies 😂
i missed this a lot, it's not even october yet and i'm watching it. also if anyone is interested there's scary godmother comic books. i'm planning on buying them.
“Even the Chocolate Caramels?” “Yes” “The nut clusters?” “Yes, yes!” “The fruity wiggleworms and howlger monkey choco pellets?” “Okay, you just made those up but if they existed, yes yes yes!”
