Old enough to have seen this at the cinema. the WHOLE FUCKEN CROWD was cracking up the whole time. One of the best movie experiences ever.

I know this movie is a Parody, but Doofus' transition of being a complete dork and moron to a good looking bad boy is really smooth.

For me the first 3 scary movie movies are the best, maybe it is necessary to see the movies to which they refer, although it is not totally necessary. In this one that you just saw there is a reference to the movie The Blair Witch Project, one of the best horror movies for me and the best in the found footage genre, it would be great to see them react to that movie.

The entire movie is a parody of 90's scary movies of this time: 'Scream', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', 'The Blair Witch Project'...etc.

You should've watched Scream first since Scary Movie is a parody of that movie. Scream is in turn a satire of the slasher genre with plenty of humor as well but much more subdued. On the other hand, you could watch Scream and compare the scenes since Scary Movie contains MANY scenes that are direct parody versions of those in Scream. :)

When I was at school some kid put this on the network and hid it really well. Pretty impressive for the time (early 2000s). Every computer lab there would be a bunch of kids in the corner trying not to laugh loudly.
