What’s the Scary Movie about?
Starring Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans and Shannon Elizabeth, Scary Movie is a send-up of today's most popular horror movies. Watch a familiar-looking group of teenagers finding themselves being stalked by a more-than-vaguely recognizable masked killer. As the victims begin to pile up and the laughs pile on, none of your favorite scary movies escape the razor-sharp satire of this outrageously funny parody. Everything begins when one night, 18-year-old Drew Decker (Carmen Electra) receives a threatening phone call while home alone. She is then chased outside by somebody dressed as Ghostface, who ends up stabbing her and slitting her throat. Following this tragedy, Cindy Campbell (Faris) realizes that Drew was murdered exactly one year after she and her friends accidentally killed a man.

What genuinely love about this movie is that it parodies scream and acknowledges that it does that and which in itself is great and then they go give us an original twist and ending 👏 While 2 is my favourite movie you can tell that Scary Movie got to be made without any studio interference and developed well because of it. I love this film.

It’s the little things that make this movie great. Ray claims not to be gay, but when Cindy pushed Ray and ran he reacted flamboyantly and had the stereotypical arms extended back sassy stance lol.
