Scary SEIZURES!

I feel like everything happens to caleb. When he was little he gashed his forehead, then diagnosed with celiac disease, and now hes having seizures. Feel better caleb you and your family are in our prayers.

This is unfair.... 1. His forehead was bleeding 2. Hurt his lip 3. Diagnosed with Celiac Disease 4. Allergic to Gluten And now seizures. But survived through it all What a troop! God Bless him and his fam. Edit: Thanks for all the likes!!

Seizures are scary. I have a brother, he’s 8. He’s special needs. His case is multiple things combined, so rare it has no name and it’s something like 1 in 5 million. He has seizures often and it’s scary. He had like 15 in one year when I was 6 or 7 and we constantly had to have the fire department and an ambulance come. He was often in the hospital. They were so often that I was actually so trained for it that I was always helping and I even was the one to figure out he was having seizures a few times. My parents divorced when I was five and my brother was two but they hadn’t finished the whole process for another couple of years so he was there to help most of the time. My brother couldn’t walk until he was three and he’s almost nine now and still struggles to walk. We’re lucky he can eat because kids with his disorder usually are in wheelchairs and need feeding tubes. He is in a home for kids like him so he doesn’t live with me, he lives five hours away. It’s scary but I promise, you’ll get through it.

My friend has a very severe case of epilepsy, she does not have seizures but she blanks out for a minute or two and then comes back. The doctors sorted this by giving her medication. Two tablets in the morning and two in the night. It’s not a big deal and I’m sure Caleb will be fine. Love you all, best wishes! 💖😃🎄🎅🏼

Seizures can be really scary but all you have to do is take action and it can do so much to help that person. I was babysitting once and the little girl I was watching had a seizure ( I was 13 at the time) and I called for help from the next room and help came. Someone there was a nurse so it was all okay. I wish best of luck for your family because life is tough but you are tougher.

My heart goes out to caleb. It must have been hard for him to Go through such a scary diagnosis. Note to Caleb: buddy first of all your cuteness amazes me every time I see you in a vlog, you are so amazing. This must have been a hard thing to go through..Like I know Because I was diagnosed with generalised epilepsy when I was eleven. The hardest part for us people with epilepsy is not the diagnosis but the life adjusting we have to it Afterwards . For example I can’t go out swimming like all the other children, people are constantly worried about you, the medication is crazyyy. But at least we show character, hope you will fight trough it( you probably will). I love you caleb, you are a superhero and Kendra you are so amazing as well. If he gets another seizure, it is important to film it for the doctor. Some seizures can show the diagnosis, so for specific illnesses there are only these specific seizures. So a little video can help the doctors and its better than explaining it to the doctors. Edit: Thanks to all the likes.

Oh no! I hope he is ok!! I am 15 (almost 16) and used to have a lot of seizures when I was little. They tested me for epilepsy and they also tested me for episodic ataxia but they came back negative. I take medicine for it and it helps. I have been taking the same dose of medicine for almost 16 years. I still do not have a diagnosis and it has almost been 16 years!

Caleb will be in my prayers, don't worry kendra, caleb is such a strong and positive boy, even in situations where most children would be at their lowest, I hope everything will be alright

My mum has epilepsy I have heard her have 5 seizures and the other day she had one at work and I broke down in tears and I know others are going thru this so I hope y’all are ok

Seizures are a very scary thing. My doctor thinks I may be having seizures and I am getting an EEG as well. My neighbor and my grandfather both have had seizures. While my neighbor is not doing so well, my Grandpa is on medication for it and has been doing well. Just know there is hope. Praying for Caleb and your family!!💞

This came close to home, my younger sister was born with Epilepsy and Cerebal Palsy and I had to see her have seizures, Her seizures were seen that she stared into nothing without blinking and My tiny 4 year old brain had to learn about all of this at such a young age. Since I was to young to see her have the surgery they did to cut half of her brain to stop seizures, the video put me into a new thought of mind. Love you J House

I have a mild case of Epilepsy and I’ve had I think 3 EEGs so far my last one was last Wednesday. And I basically had these absent seizures( not like Calebs) it’s basically where my brain just turned off and I would stare into somewhere and not respond. Luckily it only lasted a few seconds but they became regular. The point I’m trying to get across is Caleb is not alone and there’s a huge community that will happily answer any questions you might have about EEGs or seizures, Epilepsy and more! Love u guys ❤️

J house i am sooo sorry you guys had to deal with this. My cousin has epilepsy. He always had seizures. He now is a lot better. I am thankful i have never had one. Hey guys I just want you to know that my brother has seizures. He had 4 in one day. He had one in my lap. It was on the bus when it happened. He had to spend the night at the hospital because he had another seizure at the hospital. In the morning he had to get a MRI. My brother has to get and EEG I think once or twice a year. This summer he got off his medication. I just want you guys to know that I went through the same thing. My brother is now 14 and I am 11 almost 12. Me and my family are sending prayers to your family. Love you guys

If he keeps having seizers u might want to get him a therapy dog. If he is alone the dogs can find help and u can teach dogs to dial 911 with their teeth. They are super helpful.

I used to have epilepsy as a baby. I don't remember because I was a newborn. It was unexplaied epilepsy. My parents were so scared that they would lose me. Luckily, the doctors in my city were able to help me and I am healthy. You guys must be so scared for Caleb. There is a watch that you can buy that contacts your phone if Caleb has a seizure so you can contact an ambulance or doctor quicker. It is scary to see someone having a seizure. I have experienced walking into a too to see do mine having a seizure who can hear you but can't respond. I will pray for Caleb and your family. Caleb has gone through a lot. Having to be gluten free ans have epilepsy must be hard for Caleb. 💙💙

Omg this is so scary! My grandma had a seizure right in front of me! The next day she was diagnosed with cancer she survived for so long, she did pass but me and my family are praying she is okay in heaven. Hopefully Caleb in the future is ok and had a great life! aww i was diagnosed with epilepsy in February 2020. i also have no history of seizures and neither does anyone in my family. it was a terrifying experience. i’m so grateful that he is doing all right. remember that you’re not alone Caleb and stay strong little man 💪

The lack of iron might be cancelling signals to his brain that cause him to have the fits but I’m only 12 you don’t need to listen to me

These things are very scary! A few nights ago i saw my cat have a seizure and pass away. It is the worst thing to see someone or something you love in pain and you cant do anything. stay strong! You have 1.98 million people backing you up!
