I normally love storms. But I live in tornado alley and don't have a basement so these days I just spend the entire storm being nervous and checking my weather app. I gotta move to a house with a basement so I can enjoy storms again.
Nice ambience! And a safety-fact in case you actually get caught out in the open: Don't lie down - best crouch down, knees & feet together, maybe sit on a backpack, if you have one. This way, if lightning strikes nearby, the electricity goes the shortest way ground>feet>ground. Compared to e.g. ground>full-body-length>ground, in case you would lay flat on the ground. Best to read it up on more detail online, if you don't know yet and are outside a lot. Stay safe and relaxed everyone ❤

Idk why but this reminds me of home. The best feeling when I was younger was sitting on my back porch and listening to the incoming storm. So soothing. Then by around 7-9pm it would finally roll in, just in time for me to go to bed. Good times.

I am loving these types of videos! This one and the last video you uploaded are my favorite kinds of storm. Dark sky with lightning. I watched the last one several times as I was falling asleep. I love watching the movement of the trees and clouds in these too. So relaxing and cozy.

Had many nights like this on the Appalachain Trail. Being outside in storms like this made me realize how insignificant I was to nature. I could feel everything alive around me. It was truly magical, and many times very scary as I knew I could die at any moment, if not from lightning, from hiking the next day in all wet-clothing in very cold, mountain-air temperatures.

NEVER EVER hide yourserlf under a tree... the thunder will found the shorter way to touch the ground, and if the tree is the fastest way he will go by the tree.. and so on, with you aswell... literally this info can save your life.... juts look in internet some pictures about calcinated trees by thunders... stay safe!
