This video has some of the scariest stories I’ve come across in months. The one with the old woman in the house is my favourite so far. Good to have a decent scare again instead of just hearing the same stories being used over and over and over in most videos by similar youtubers.

I have a true scary story that happened to me when I was younger. I'll give us fake names to respect the privacy of my friend and sister who went through this as well. So, I'll be Moon. My friend will be Sunny. And my sister will be Night. Ok, so this was a few years ago when I was 12, my sister was 9, and my friend (who was staying the night) who was also 12. My father and stepmother had gone out to OutBack or Olive Garden or whatever to celebrate their 5th anniversary. We were home alone, downstairs watching Spongebob while me and my friend gossiped or whatever. We lived *far* out into the country, our nearest neighbor was about 1/3 of a mile away. But, we did live right by a highway, which gave us some comfort. Anyway, where we are, if you turn left, you will go upstairs. Then you will see 4 rooms, two on the left, one on the right, and the other one is a bathroom. If you go a little bit right of the living room and straight, you're in the kitchen. Then from the kitchen, if you turn left and go down, there is the garage door. The door has a small hallway to get inside and has always freaked me out. We had left the garage door open for if my parents came back. We locked the door though (we're not that stupid) just in case. Anyway, I was sitting on the couch beside my friend and my sister was on the floor in front of us. We were giggling about something when we heard the garage door knob start jiggling. Thinking it was my parents, I went into the kitchen and started to pass when I got the "Wa-ping!!" notification of a text. I opened it and it was my father. It read "Hey girls, sorry. We'll be a bit late on returning home. Stupid ass car won't start again. Have fun, and there's ice cream in the fridge." I responded "Ok, what is your eta??" He replied "Dunno, between a few minutes and an hour." I said ok and got out the ice cream. The thought of the cool, creamy richness made me forget all about the door. I told my sister and friend and we all got some. After about 10 minutes, the knob jiggled again. Thinking it was my father, I texted saying "You home???" Right away I got a response "No, something wrong with the motor. We'll be back in about half an hour." Ok..... wait.... wtf? Then whos out there?? I tapped my friend and told her to come with me. I told my sister to run up to our room. Since we shared one, we were the only ones with a boltlock as well as the common lock on the handle. She looked confused, but did as I said. I grabbed my phone, turned off the light and tv, as me and my friend stalked into the kitchen. I turned on my camera and took a picture with the flash. Then we bolted upstairs to see if we were in danger or if we were just being silly. What happens next still gives me chills, so bear with me. In the photo was a tall, bulky man. Wearing a huge Winnie the pooh mask. I dropped my phone and stifled a gasp, my friend gave a whimper, and my sister (who didn't know what was going on) took our reactions and started to cry. We told her to shush and tried to soothe her. I ran downstairs toward the kitchen door, and slammed it shut and locked it. Then, I sonic-the-hedgehogged myself up the stairs and into my room. I locked the door, both locks, and walked toward my sister and friend. She looked up from my phone and was pale as my sheets. My sister was wrapped up in the blankets on her bed and was still slightly weeping. Sunny chucked the phone into my hands and said "Brighten it, and look behind him. *Do it now* " So I did. Then tears started rushing down my face. There, behind the man, were 2 other people wearing Stitch and Squidward masks. I dialed my fathers number and told him what happened. He sounded frantic but kept his cool. "Ok, we're on our way now. I want you to reach under the box in your closet. There is a small pocket knife. Use it if you have to. We're coming, and I'll call the cops ok?" Scared, I said "O-ok... but dad, can I hang up? I'm scared, what if they find us??" He said "Its fine, just keep texting me. Is everyone there ok??" "Y-yes, we're fine." "Ok, call immediately if there is anything else." He then hung up. I grabbed a whole bunch of blankets and pillows and put them inside the closet. I picked up my sister and buried her underneath. Then the same with my friend. I was about to get in when I heard "Mew" I looked over by the door to see my cats paw wriggling around trying to get in. I peeked under the door, and let her in after unlocking. Then I locked it right back up again. We all hid out in the closet for what felt like hours before the cops and my parents showed up. They came and got us, brought us down to the station, and asked a few questions and got the picture. They had concluded that they didn't know that anyone was home, seeing as they felt comfortable shaking the knob and not carrying weapons (from telling by the picture) but what they did find out was that instead 3 people... there were 5. Two of them were peeking from the two bottom corners and the rest were behind the main man. We moved out quickly and I am still friends with Sunny. We still talk about it sometimes and my sister is scared to be alone now. One of the most scary experiences I've had probably. Thanks for reading!

I'm 14, just finished a daily run. Today I tracked 8 miles. I'm shooting for a half marathon on May 27 of this year. Home alone currently searching for intruders!

In a realistic situation like if someones in my house id get up snd start laying punches to the intruders head knock him down and straight K.O tie him up bash him some more than demand a debt from him or he will cop a knee cap !! Thats how we roll in my area. But like if i was over seas or somewhere ar away maybe id be shaken and scared a little but id manage to defend myself. Iv been through something very scary, i thought id never make it out lucky i had my cousin with me otherwise God knows what would have happened to me that day i still think of it, being scared i will message you it tomorrow night.
