Jakarta have 5 district each is like a small city with it’s own Mayor, price wise usually Central, South and West Jakarta district is more expensive and the East and North is cheaper.

Districts??? Did you mean cities? Or administrative area? Actually Jakarta (661 km2) is divided into 5 administrative areas but it has hundreds of districts while greater Jakarta (6.765 km2) consist of 5 cities including Jakarta, Bekasi, Depok, Bogor, and Tangerang

@@yourmatematt walk slowly just give the hand sign towards the cars/bike, but definitely you must have a good distance between you and the the vehicle when you try to cross the street, what you did on your video was very dangerous with that close distance
I think why you can't find shops on ground mostly for security reason. May be it's better to rather put their shop inside the building with security guard at the lobby, so it's like the first layer to keep out people with potential to be vandalizing stuff later (just my 2 cent). SCBD is just not kind of Orchard SG yet, where storefront are everywhere on ground. The closest thing to what it could be called on-ground storefront is LV in Plaza Indonesia
Jakarta has soo many malls....you both have to visit and experience some of them, not only one or two.....and after that you can comment of jakarta's malls.......happy "malling" 👌👌

There are multiple restaurants at the Ground Floor of Pacific Place! Mostly are accessible from outside though, you have to enter small hallways to find their backdoors, but most joints that open late are on the Ground Floor!

Why the mall like a ghost building because its Sunday, its more busy and crowded on weekday. Most worker come and live from surrounded area of jakarta (BO DE TA BEK - Bogor Depok Tangerang Bekasi). Connection between those area use Commuter Line (KRL maybe you could try - use the popular Prepaid card such E money from Mandiri or Flash form BCA.You could use those prepaid card on every main city on Indonesia, not only for KRL payment but it could use for other purpose such payment on minimarket, MRT and highway /Toll or restaurant who have EDC machine from that Bank.

Manykind local coffee shop, cafe you can visit in jakarta or go to skye cafe at 52 floor bca building near grand indonesia, or street food behind plaza indonesia at sabang street near sarinah, if you want to see art and museum go to Taman ismail marzuki at cikini raya street, there also many food and coffee shop, if you want buying old stuff go to surabaya street near menteng, if u need indonesian stuff go to sarinah building

7:11 If and when you come to the Philippines try BGC or the Bonifacio Global City. I reckon you’ll find what you’re looking for. Much like SCBD in terms of modernity but w numerous pockets of greenery and street cafes etc. SCBD is still awesome though just that BGC is more tourist friendly
Malls in Sudirman Blvd, quite empty on Sunday coz there's A CAR FREE DAY (CFD) every Sunday morning between 6-10 AM. During that time the main street is forbidden for cars and motorcycles, there's only people doing jogging, running and cycling and any activities during that time, thousands of them on the main street. The Car Free Day at Sudirman Blvd is over 10 kilometers away, no cars at all except the busway system. You should walk on the main street to look what's going on out there, imagine no cars in the main street of Jakarta, which is so crowded in every single day with a damn traffic jam in every morning, CFD is so cool..!!!
If u are in Indonesia u've to give ur hand or raise ur hand to the driver to stop... Yes, I admit that Indonesians don't pay attention to traffic signs... and many car drivers feel that they are taller than walking... Thanks ur correct .... God bless u all...
I think you're lucky, because a lot of poeple or foreign if want to take a videos at SCBD, the security guard ( SCBD elite business park guard) always say "please don't record, private area"
It is a business district. Not shopping district except for the one traditionsl mall youve visited and 1 lifestyle mall. And there should be some bars and cafes in the area to chill after work and to go to on saturday nights.
