Hi Bimbo friends! I’m really excited for this one for multiple reasons. If you didn’t know I have this thing called POTS which essentially just means my blood pressure and heart rate go fucking batshit when I have to stand up. This causes people to faint as well as a million other symptoms like exhaustion, vertigo, etc. Before working with a cardiologist to manage it there was months where I actively planned my life around not being able to walk around. I’m very lucky to now be in place where I’m able to manage touring and performing by following a strict regiment for it but the thought has never left my mind of how much my life would shift if nothing worked or that at any moment all my symptoms would randomly appear for months unbroken again. That being said, I wanted a little pop star dance moment but one that you guys could be apart of regardless of where you’re at physically. I’m very thankful to the entire crew who brought this together but especially thankful to Genna Moroni for making choreography that can be done seated or standing and the insanely talented Princess, Ryan, Lennon, and Sierra for absolutely eating on this. I’m not actually a dancer (I just like shaking ass) but I hope you’ll all learn this little hand and hair-ography and dance with me. Thanks so much to Spaced Visuals and Death Cat for knocking this video out of the park 💖

I had to watch the video again to see this plan in action and yeah I can see it :0 the movements are very stationary and simple but the camera movements compliment the choreo make the shots more dynamic. remember folks, it’s not about what you got, it’s how you use it ;)

just a note--'wheelchair-user' is preferred to 'wheelchair bound.' calling it wheelchair bound can imply that wheelchairs are something we're forced to use, that we're literally/figuratively trapped in them, or that using a wheelchair is inherently negative. while some wheelchair users are/identify as wheelchair bound, the majority of wheelchair users don't consider ourselves "bound" to our wheelchairs. wheelchairs provide their users a ton of opportunities, when the alternative is to be bedbound or homebound. wheelchairs are freedom from being bound, they're not a thing that we're bound to! basically, people who call themselves wheelchair bound exist and are valid, but referring to wheelchair users as a whole as wheelchair bound is a problem! :)
