Scenes from the 2024 California State Fair at Cal Expo 

Here's a SacTV.com video covering the 2024 California State Fair at Cal Expo in Sacramento. Alex Cosper reflects on how the state fair has created many great memories over the years. In 2024, however, there was no sense of new booths, rides or food choices, which remained overpriced fast food. The turnout for early July 13, 2024 was light, so don't expect to see crowds in these scenes. The high point was Cosper reuniting with his DJ friend for many years, Rick Batiste. Known as "DJ Rick" at mobile sound events, he is also an Air Traffic Reporter for iHeartRadio in San Francisco. Alex and Rick worked together in both the 80s and 90s at KWOD in Sacramento, which was a top 40 station in the 80s and an alternative station in the 90s. This video concludes with Alex briefly interviewing Rick about his DJ work.
