I did this drive 30 years ago, by myself ,in a 200 dollar car in the middle of winter. My first over seas adventure, a great way to start life. Cheers from Australia.

My wife and I visisted Canada for 3 weeks in 2016 for our wedding and honeymoon. We landed in Calgary and ended up in Vancouver 2 weeks later; we got married at Lake Louise 19 Apr 2016. Words cannot really explain how beautiful Canada is. We spent the best part of a week in Banff National Park and I think about it nearly every day. Thank you so much for posting this video as it is literally a trip down memory lane for me. :)

This is my favorite drive in the world. Everyone should try and experience it once. I am lucky I live in BC. Many trips and it never gets old

I have never been more alone or homesick in my life but this video made me feel okay for a few hours so thank you for that brief peace at a horrible time in my life. I was born and raised in Calgary and then moved to Halifax in April 2020. I have not been home or seen anyone from back home since. Over the last 6 months I have lost most function of my left wrist, my partner of 5 years, came out to my family and had to cut ties with half my family, including my mom two weeks ago.

Awwww hope you're feeling better one year later ... I had 20 years myself feeling unbelievably low sometimes .... I watched this entire video a few months back while I sank into my sofa and just travelled within myself .... I've just come back and the moment the music started and the scenery rolled, my body reminded me how amazing this journey was to view, and also my own personal journey .... I'm feeling better now as I've completely let go of various things but your message made me think of my journey and I wanted to ask how you're feeling? .... Are things better ? ... job well done! this video is great help for all those people who no longer can drive to enjoy our beautiful Mother Nature, at the same time they have great desire to do so. specially people over sixty years old who are very enthusiastic to drive for pleasure...! believe me there is no difference whether I am watching this video or driving myself - in contrast I am enjoying this way of driving, because it is full of comfort there is nothing to worry about my driving (Gas, Insurance, car maintenance and all the other financial matters)!

I did the drive 2 years ago with my family, and my grandparents did it 20 years before that too. When we were by the Jasper Icefields they were surprised that there was little snow. They do not believe in the effects of climate change but after seeing the glacier, the believed it.

Ah I've been trying to find where in Canada the music video was flimed for Kings x Black flag. Similar to glencoe in Scotland. Fun fact parts of Canada and USA used to be physically connected to Loch Ness Scotland (Our Banff is in the Scottish Highlands.

What dash cam do you use? And do you usually put it inside or outside of your vehicle? EDIT: Oh, I see when it was raining in the video. You put it inside just like any dash cam. Yet the picture remains crystal clear as if there was not a windscreen.
