Driving through Glacier National Park - another video of a day from Don and Hazel’s 2018 Road Trip (from Florida). Glacier Park is a wilderness area in northwestern Montana's Rocky Mountains, with glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border. It's crossed by the famous “Going-to-the-Sun Road,” completed in 1932, and later designated a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. The road is 50 miles long and spans the width of the park. The West Glacier Entrance is located just outside the town of West Glacier, MT, and is open 24 hours a day all year around. With our hiking days about over, the easy viewing access right from the car - of breathtaking scenery of forests, meadows, rugged mountains, spectacular turquoise lakes and streams was awesome, and we truly enjoyed this day of our trip! Grab your favorite snacks and beverage and visit Glacier National Park with us! The road did get a little scary at times - but the spectacular views were totally worth it!
