Love the video. Was in Aotearoa just in time for covid lockdown, but did a drive from Hahei to Wellington! Lockdown in New Plymouth, would love to go back, love Aotearoa!
Would be better if you named the towns as you was driving thru so we knew what areas you was in :) I’m planning driving thru with kids in May so I watched to see your roads 😅
A route map with time frame numbers would be really good e.g Waiouru time 46:56 except in that section of film, you are driving Northwards, towards Auckland, not from Auckland.
In your preamble you stated you are driving Auckland to Wellington. Why, therefore, is it that when you get to Waiouru at time 46:56, you are driving Northwards, towards Auckland (not towards Wellington) with Ruapehu directly ahead, when just a short while before, you were driving Southwards, past Mt Ruapehu???? At 48:49 you were on SH1 a few km north of Taihape at the junction of Mataroa Rd, the sign post pointing to "Mataroa". Earlier, you had some sections that seemed to be from the Ohakune to Waiouru section. This video is obviously a poorly composed composite, and not particularly accurate at that! Thumbs down.
