The city that never sleeps is now sleeping....in the hope and prayer that when it wakes up again, the world would have healed. ❤️ #stayhome #staysafe #covidisreal
@@gauravw6947 ummm... I live in mumbai and this is a part of Mumbai though only the south Bombay part. This happened because the people that made this video were not given permission to shoot whole mumbai.
@@yeshamehta9611 Girl, what part of my comment did you not understand??? The person above "bic c" claimed that the whole city flouted lockdown rules with a video link and I told him that link isn't entirely showing whole Mumbai flouting lockdown rules... I didn't even talk about the lockdown video of Mumbai featured in OSR reaction... Did you even try to click on the video link he provided or even saw whom I referred to in my reply??? Read properly and comprehend properly, before making an ignorant reply... Also, its called South Mumbai, not South Bombay... If you live in Mumbai, you should know to call the city by its real name and not by the anglicised names...
Mumbai - the city (other than New York City) that never sleeps. The city of Dreams. Aamchi Mumbai - The financial capital of South Asia. Home to more millionaires and billionaires than in any other Asian city. Home of two of the world's largest stock exchanges in the world apart from New York of USA. Having an iconic skyline. UNESCO recognized Mumbai as film city due to Bollywood. What more can I say?
The people in metros may be taking a real peaceful break from the mechanical, chaotic , busy life , which they always wanted and never thought possible..
Actually now I am missing the traffic the honking the crowded trains the weather every single thing it's as if please take away this Corona and I will never complain about my lovely City
Well, instead reducing the population is permanent solution lolz bcoz Japan and South Korea are not even in lockdown (as they r not lazy af like Indians instead they are Workaholic and don't like paid holidays) still there place looks beautiful and healing.
This city has never been like this before. There's a popular saying for mumbai that this city never sleeps and never stops....like u will see people at the same place carrying their usual work where there was a terrorist attack last night or a bomb blast
What a video. I almost had tears in my eyes. Straight after finishing my MBA, I joined as a banker and my first posting was in Mumbai. I have lived there for 5 years before moving out. Mumbai taught me a lot and made me a better man. To see the financial capital of my country...a city that personifies passion, competition, a will to move ahead with a determination to succeed...seeing that Mumbai so quiet...it looked pretty as if the city was taking a much needed rest...but its not the Mumbai I have in my memories...it felt as if I lost something. This video made me very emotional. God bless us all. May these tough times get over soon.
Empty streets of Mumbai just gives me chills and tears rolls down my eye. We are in this together let's fight it mumbaikars. City that never sleeps have slept for good reason and better morning ❤️ Love you OSR. Forever fan💜
Mumbai you take my breath away. I born in this city and spent my entire life there. Never ever have I imagined Mumbai like this. I have roamed dawn to dusk, never have I seen it so empty, even in mid nights and early mornings. We used to ride motorcycle in the nights so we get a little less traffic.
Watching the ever bustling streets of Mumbai deserted, I had two contradictory feelings. The obvious feeling of sadness watching my city brought down to it's knees was offset by the utter amazement and pride in my fellow Mumbaiites for judiciously heeding the advice of our PM and being a beacon to the rest of the world.
Proud to be mumbaikar being born and brought up with a spirit of Mumbai which never sleeps or stops whether its terrorist attacks or Mumbai floods. Mumbai has its own chaotic discipline and each mumbaite abide by it whether it’s crowded, traffic jams but has its own unique language. Am sure though roads looks deserted but most of the people working from home remotely and giving support to local and international businesses, as it never sleeps. Kudos to discipline and response shown by Mumbai to lockdown requested by government 🙌
The building in the first shot is not the Taj . It is the legendery Chatrapati shivaji maharaj train terminus earlier known as the Victoria terminus . It is a world Heritage site and also one of the busiest train stations in india .
Mumbai is silent for the first time ever in history 😥 most crowded city in the world if Mumbai is silent, it means..situation is bad very very bad.. that is sad..
I haven’t been out of my apartment in Mumbai for last 12 days . Glad to know majority are staying inside and showcasing unity and support to our fight against the pandemic . Cheers n kuddos to people providing all kinds of services in these times , hats off 🙌🏻
My Mumbai looks beautiful, clean and free from pollution and traffic jams in this video. But it doesn't look like my vibrant and energetic Mumbai. It looks lifeless and sad😞 Hopefully, this gets over soon and we give it life again.
You both said well that is creepy, bcz this is an historic mark Mumbai have never witnessed such utterly empty street's But at same time its Scary bcz when Mumbai (Financial Capital) stops whole India even international markets suffers.
Guys, when are you going to react to the song "ami je tomar/mere dholna sunn"? It's from the film bhool bhulaiyaa the trailer of which you reacted to. Vidya balan's performance is stunning in that...
Throughout the 25 years of my life never have I ever not heard buzzing streets and no aeroplane noises. This is so not us. 😔 Mumbai is above everything ❤ Praying for the world and for us too.
I have been to Mumbai this new year.....and i ssly got emotional after watching this video when it was released.......i have just been there for 3 days but still my eyes teared up by seeing the city full of life being in sleep like this
People are complaining about cities being empty but I am loving it. No chaos and commotion, no pollution... Just fresh air and tranquility... Let nature have it's moments....
.& this is how it's everywhere in India now not just Mumbai 😌❤do you know it's healed Mother Nature so much-so much that from Punjab people can see the mountains of Himalaya.... the Lockdown effect Jalandhar wakes up to see a view of Himalayas first time this has happened for the first time in 30 years. Like whole earth is recovering because of Lockdown

My city Mumbai,I am not in Mumbai for a few years now but often visit it and looking at this it looks beautiful and yet sad to see it like this ,when this lockdown is over I am going to visit Mumbai to appreciate the city which gave me so much...
Great that you people noticed horns...we are so much used to of horns that we don't even hear them at all...what i am noticing is the train sound, people running to catch train, train announcement, 100s of black auto rickshaws, street vendors notice...
As a Japanese lots of love to *HINDU-INDIA* under lockdown beauty of your country is unmatched. Great discipline showed by *Hindu-Indians* by staying inside.

@@nikhilpathak6540 I live in America, my friend. We are aliens here, our beautiful country and culture virtually unknown. We love it when Americans, or for that matter any non Indians watch and appreciate what we have accomplished. The reasons Americans do not ask us to react to their content is because we are already aware of them. All their movies, music, food, clothes etc are very popular in India. We Indians have already adapted to so many parts of American culture. There is hardly anything new to be discovered. We ask Americans to react to out stuff not because we want validation from them, it's because we want to show them what a great country India is and that they are missing out on so many things by not knowing its creation! Peace, bhai!
@@nikhilpathak6540 why are you so angry? What difference does it make who is requesting what of anybody. You dont enjoy the channel, dont come here. Live and let live. Dont question people's choices. Tolerance is the name of the game. Isn't that one of our greatest strengths. Isn't it arrogant to think you can decide what people want to watch?
For me, its an opportunity to see different and new videos with them and also see my country from their perspective. What happens with me is since i have grown in the country, i dont realise importance of several things... And when i see with them.. hearing their thoughts, i get to realise the importance of things and wisdom that we have...
You have seen the busy happening side of Mumbai, you have seen the empty Mumbai. Now watch Black Friday to see a partially destroyed Mumbai and look how they recovered. That's the spirit of Mumbai. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
The sad thing is when the pandemic is over and things get back to normal the weather, the water and pollution will be out of control again. Wild animals and birds will not venture outside and we will keep destroying earth. It is sad. But is there really any hope for us?? Only time will tell 😢
The first one wasn't Taj international hotel ,its Chatrapati Shivaji terminal (CSTM) railway station, one of biggest in India. The city which never sleeps now remains pure silence. Now foreign journalism, media should see this before portraying any wrong image of Indians. Thank you so much Rick & korbin mate. You guys understand us,love our nation, always feel familiar. @our stupid family rocks. Love you guys. From 🇮🇳🙏
It is true looking towards scenario of a city like Mumbai which is completely empty now rather than the crowd. It reminds me one movie called " I am legend ".
Our Mumbai. 😍😍😍😍 It's another country in itself. It's beauty, it's feelings, it's history, it's culture, it's Modernity, it's Entertainment, it's Shiny, it's Seashore, etc are the best in world 😘😘😘😘😘
Greetings from Mumbai, India. While there appears to be a certain relief as saw from the great vacant spaces there is an underlying sadness to Mumbai's emptiness. Cities are meant to throb with energy and with life. This hurts. I am sure the same would obtain for you in the case of New York's Manhattan. Thank you both, Rick and Corbin, for your empathy.
That's Not Just Mumbai... The Whole Country Looks Empty & At A Standstill... I Mean Smaller Cities Looks Unbelievably Vacant & To Observe It, Is Such A Surreal Experience... BUT To Witness BIG, Huge, Insanely Busy, Crowded Cities Like NEW Delhi, Kolkata And Mumbai To Come To Complete Halt And Absolutely Devoid Of Moving Bodies... OOffph!!... 😧😱😲😷😥.
I sincerely have empathy for #america , america is going through a very very very tough times , death toll is very high. I pray for your well recovery.
First short monument was CST- Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Actually Mumbai is the City that never sleeps. So to see Mumbai streets empty, deserted, it does feel eary...
